Great bib shorts for the price
Bought these during a sale; $150 is a bit more than I'm used to paying for cycling shorts, but these were bibs, so I tried it. Wore them on a longer ride right out of the gate, went for 45 + miles. These are very comfortable, and the bib keeps the chamois in place with no chaffing. The cargo pockets are a nice touch, as it lets me stuff a power bar or gel without having to reach behind into my jersey. On sale, the Varlos are a very good purchase. Will do it again.
Best bib shorts in my closet!
I'm 5'7" with a lean to medium athletic build, and I've had to size up in Pearl Izumi shorts/bib-shorts in the past due to my thighs, and that has left much to be desired in overall fitting & placement. * These fit me perfectly, and let me stay in my S size despite my thighs * The chamois fits & stays perfectly in place * The shorts in general hug & flex appropriately to be snug, but still comfortable in the groin 5/5 stars & will recommend!
Best bibs!
Instant new favorite. Had to size up, I’m 6’ 150lbs, and while the size chart suggested a medium, I found the inseam to be too short. Sized up to large and couldn’t be happier. Premium materials, no chafing, great seat bone support, especially for someone without much cushion back there, you know what I mean.. First time buying from Varlo, but definitely recommend!
Great bib
This bib easily turned into my favorite bib! All day comfort as a matter of fact my first day wearing them I did a century ride! No discomfort whatsoever and I was very pleasantly surprised. I’m a big boy at 240lbs and I bought an XXL and this allows my man parts a lot of freedom. Will buy a second pair once I get another sale coupon.
Okay for shorter rides
This product looks good, is a good value, and works well for relatively shorter (e.g., 2 hours or less) rides. I've worn them a half dozen times since purchasing two months ago. It's a bit less comfortable on longer or warmer rides. Also, for me, the sizing runs small.
Fantastic bibs
Absolutely love these bibs. I find them more comfortable then my Rapha bibs and overall I have less issues in the saddle with them. Bought a second pair ASAP so I can wear them for all my longer weekend rides.
