Sizing Notes
Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements.
SHORT: Some pants are available in short sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 2.5 inches shorter than regular sizes.
TALL: Some pants, shirts, jackets and parkas are available in tall sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 3 inches longer and a rise that is 1 inch longer, a shirt or jacket body that is 2 inches longer, a parka body that is 2.5 inches longer and sleeves that are 2.5 inches longer than regular sizes.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Fit's a little odd, but very cool
I got the chance to put this shirt through its paces on indoor bike rides - sadly the weather here has not been great for getting outdoors. The mesh on this shirt is very subtle. You can see it well up close, but at a distance it looks like a normal athletic shirt with a grid print. It does extremely well at keeping you cool, to the point where I started looking to layer up while riding indoors with a fan. On the downside, however, is the fit (at least for my body). I'm not the most tapered physique right now and something about the cut of this shirt was loose around the neck and arms while also being on the too-snug side around my midsection. I've got other athletic shirts that are not as constraining as this. Lose 10# and it's probably okay!
Solid Lightweight Workout/Running Shirt
A good lightweight shirt for running and gym workouts. The sizing perhaps seems a little big but maybe that's why it feels so cool while you're wearing it. I sweat a LOT when I work out, and this shirt doesn't get weighed down or stick to my body in those situations. Best off all, there's no nipple chafing, which can be a problem with some synthetic workout shirts for me. I wore this shirt bike riding in Mexico City and it kept me cool and looking good all day long. It's also on my regular shirt rotation for going to the gym. My only minor complaint is that the loose fit isn't perhaps as flattering as it could be.
Good shirt for warm weather activities
Immediately I got an athletic scrubs vibe, maybe it's just the blue color. I've jogged a few miles in it and can confirm it's going to be great this summer with outdoor activities in the heat. Ventilation is great and no issues with moisture or odor either though I'm sure the latter would come eventually. It seems very purpose-built so it's not something I'd lounge in, but on a long hike or run in the heat I think it'll do nicely.
Well Vented And Comfortable
I’ll take a good nylon blend seven days a week over polyester. Regardless of price, it’s the only synthetic that I won’t sweat in unnecessarily, burn up in, the sun, stink much less, and get better breathability, inside and out. Some companies, such as Wrangler, have reasonably priced offerings. REI brands do too. This shirt, especially on sale, is one of the best things I’ve bought from REI and I highly recommend it.
Great Light Weight Breathable Shirt
Super light weight shirt thats great for warm weather activities. The fabric is moisture wicking and drys quickly. I love the color and comfort of the shirt. Has great little details such as reflective strips on each of the shoulder sleeves and the REI Co-op badge on the front.
Great fitting, super lightweight
I wore this in a variety of workout scenarios - HIIT classes, pickleball, and running. I found the fit to be just right - not tailored or tight but also not baggy. It has enough room in the chest and shoulders to allow you to be unencumbered during your workout. The weight is great - very lightweight and it wicks well. Towards the end of a workout when it did get a little soaked, it wasn't heavy like other shirts where you can't wait to take it off when done. I really liked the overall material and color was great.
Improvement on a great shirt
I have previously enjoyed the Swiftland Running shirts and was curious about the new "GRID" feature. It is a much needed upgrade for only 5 bucks more. The grid gets rid of the static electric cling that is occasionally a nuisance with the standard Swiftland Running shirts. I hope they come out with more colors.
Great running shirt
Excellent shirt, fantastic breath ability & liking the relaxed fit. Please release in additional lighter colors such as white or light gray as the darker tones tend to retain heat in warmer weather conditions.
Excellent Fit and Breathability
I received this item from REI trailblazer in exchange for my honest review. The material was really nice which I noticed as soon as I first picked it up. It was very soft and seemed like it would be very effective at sweat management. I used it at the gym and as expected, I sweat up a storm and the shirt did an excellent job. Compared to the cotton shirts I use at the gym, this one clearly comes out on top.
Trail-Tested and Florida-Approved
Trail-Tested and Florida-Approved – A Shirt That Actually Keeps Up The REI Co-op Swiftland Grid Running Shirt quickly earned a top spot in my gear rotation. At first, I ordered a large (my usual go-to), but it ran a bit roomy—sized down to a medium, and it was a perfect, athletic fit without being tight. The fabric is next-level: super lightweight, stretches with every movement, and somehow still feels durable enough to handle rough trails and the occasional unplanned branch encounter. Whether I’m grinding out miles or just moving fast and light, this shirt moves with me, not against me. What really blew me away is how well it performs in Florida’s signature swampy humidity. This shirt dries fast—like how-is-this-possible fast. Even on long trail runs where the air feels like soup, I’m not left soaked or weighed down. It breathes like a champ, doesn’t cling, and keeps me cool when everything else feels like it’s melting. It’s rare to find a shirt that checks this many boxes: great fit, crazy light, built to last, and actually functional in brutal weather. If you run trails, sweat hard, and need a shirt that won’t quit, the Swiftland Grid is your new best friend.
