Tapis de tente parfait

Je l'ai acheté pour protéger mon vieux mod√®le de tente Big Agnes et les dimensions sont parfaites. Facile â installer et léger, mieux vaut protéger nos investissements.

Get it

It should be included, but get it anyway. With the footprint you can easily pitch the tent fly first if you have to set up in the rain. Obviously an essential feature of your shelter if you use it anywhere that rain is likely. Setting up with the footprint is easy, thanks to the grommets for the tent pole ends. Something that other brands seem to think is unnecessary. If you don't need to worry about mosquitoes, you can also use this instead of the main tent body for a super light freestanding shelter.

Wrong size

The footprint anchor straps with grommets are to long to mount to the end of the poles like they're designed to do if the tent body is being used also. It will not work if the tent is also sharing the tent poles, so you need to use stakes specifically to hold the the footprint in place separate from the tent. You can use this with the rain fly only and no stakes if that's your main purpose, but it's not meant to be used with the tent body without the need for stakes.

Fair

To be fair it's a foot print that does its job. Fits exactly the size of my Big Agnes 1p tent its ment for. Got a hole in it the first night but at least it's not my tent. I think I should have opted for the footprint that extends with the vestibule area but that's my fault. My only wish was that the webbing that attaches to each corner was adjustable because it hangs loose even with the tent poles placed in

Not perfect but helpful

Wish it fit a little better - it's a tiny bit loose. Did the job thought protecting my one person tent from dirt and ground moisture. Will be great if I ever decide to do fast fly mode. Better than Tyvek which slides around and looks cheap or polycro which gets shredded easily where I tend to go backpacking.

a bit too large

The footprint itself is the correct size/dimension, but the straps are too long such that when you insert the tentpoles, the foot print is loose (not taut as needed). I tied up knots in the straps to shorten them and this worked. Bought footprint 2 years ago, so maybe the design has been improved.

Works perfectly with the Copper Spur UL 1 tent. The poles fit seamlessly into their place with this footprint and the whole system doesn't move once everything it's integrated together

Good addition for rough terrain and extended use

As another review noted, the footprint is not taught, but when clipped to the fly, it works perfectly.
