Don't skip footprint
Perfectly matched footprint for my Big Agnes Copper Spur UL2 XL tent. I know some ultralighters swear agains footprints, but the tent material is quite thing to cut weight, so I would worry about a teat without the footprint, so I spent the $$$ and will take the weight penalty, as small as it is. As the instructions say, stake it down first, lightly, setup tent on top and away you go. Fast and easy setup and protects your tent investment.
Demonstration or Instructions could be helpful
This is probably user error, but in that case, better instructions would help - the grommets on the footprint were further than the tent poles. The footprint slide around as a result. It still mostly kept the under the tent. I am confused by the buckles. The fly buckles into the the tent? Maybe the intention is that you buckle the footprint to the fly only? It was unclear. I love that it shook off and dried off quickly.

Superlight, but even with the footprint, on the first night, a small hole was punched by a small rock through the floor of the tent and the footprint.
As usual, Big Agnes is the best
I love my new copper spur tent and the footprint! I had a durston tent but it was a huge pain compared to the copper spur
