The fit is great for wider feet. Unfortunately the shoe has *severe* durability problems with the velcro straps and metal loops holding them. The coating degraded and the metal has nearly cut clean through the strap - making the shoes unusable. Scarpa warranty says they are "beyond their life cycle". Not acceptable for a $200 shoe.
These have been great for indoor climbing and single pitch sport climbs, but I wouldn’t call them an all around shoe like the description says. They fit well, and break in nicely, but they’re not something that you’re going to want to wear for extended periods of time in my experience. Definitely geared toward bouldering and single pitch. The rubber has held up really well for me, I haven’t really had any durability issues besides the stitching around the cuff chaffing off.
And its good enough for gym lead sessions. Comfortable all around plus nice toe box. Im a 43 street and got this in a 42, same as my LS Miuras. Good cross over fit. Break in is quick. Not aggressive and Heal hooks need more precision but the gains in comfort make up the difference.
