weird fit
These are fine, but the fit is strange. The pros: the padding is substantial and well-shaped, the fabric is a nice weight and seems like decent quality. The cons: these are weirdly low rise, with only about 6 inches of crotch depth (even if you have a very flat butt, these are likely to be quite a low rise); the legs have a mesh elastic at the bottom, which is significantly less stretchy than the shorts themselves; the waistband has 3/4 inch elastic in the top of the yoga style waistband, which seems unnecessary and uncomfortable. I do not have particularly small thighs or hips, so these fit issues may be different for someone with skinnier legs or a straighter frame. I am a near exact match for the S in the size chart, but these seem to run a touch small.
Size up on this item.
This zoic is much smaller than it used to be - bought same one 4 years ago, not the same piece.
Keeping it for the padding but low on hips
Great padding, solved by soreness issues on long rides, but as this is a lighter, it doesn't go up to your waist. Almost like low slung hip height, and doesn't go up to the waist.
