Not good over time

At first, I absolutely loved this pad. Very warm and comfy, and self inflation was fantastic at the end of a long day. However, on a week long hike, after the 2nd night, it would not stay inflated. No holes or air leaks that I could find. I personally think it's a defective design in that after being compressed all day everyday from hiking with it rolled up, the foam inside never fully uncompressed at night. I'm heartbroken because it was the most comfortable pad I've tried when it actually worked. It is bulky and heavier than I like, but if it would have continued to work it would have been worth it.

Im In Love

The second I lay on this mattress I knew it was the right choice. Sure you can go lighter, more compact or cheaper but why would you? The importance of having a good nights sleep is real. Good sleep = rested body, mental clarity and you enjoy your adventure SOOOOO much more. Poor nights sleep = grumpy, fatigued, brain stall. Its a no brainer. So what if you have to carry a few more grams. The only downside I see is that my partner keeps wanting to steal it. LOL. And the fact that its 4 season is another win. I am interested in seeing how long it lasts. Will keep you posted.

New sleeping pad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sea to Summit Women's sleeping pad has been great to sleep on overall. I did just get a warranty for a new one though in exchange for my less than one year former sleeping pad as it developed many tiny holes along the sides. When it is able to stay inflated, it is the most comfy sleeping pad I have ever used. I am a side sleeper and I have had a tough time finding a sleeping pad that is thick enough for my hips and shoulders and this one has been great. I am hoping the new one lasts longer.

Disappointed

I was really excited for a great night sleep because of the quality of this pad. I sacrificed carrying the extra pound to have a comfortable sleep. It was the worst night ever. This pad is so thick that I felt like I was going to fall off the bed, going in and out of sleep. I would prefer something lower to the ground so you can use all the surface around you as support. This pad is just too high off the ground.

Sleeping Pad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great. It's the first time I've tried a self inflating pad. It is more comfortable than my current cushion sleeping pad, and it's shaped better (instead of a rectangle) so my arms or knees (side/3/4 side sleeper) stay on the pad and don't get cold at night. I used this in 20° weather, and along with my sleeping bag, I was warm and comfortable all night. Highly recommend.

Great pad but not self inflating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pad is comfy and warm, great size. However I would not consider this self inflating. The instructions are pretty confusing and even when I figured it out it didn’t really self inflate. The foam definitely did retain air and puff up, but I still had to manually inflate. I would give it 5 stars if it actually self inflated, but giving 3 since it’s marketed as self-inflating.

I’d recommend this to a shorter friend.

I’ve been using this for a few trips now. It is very easy to set up - but read the instructions! On the first trip I never figured out I could just leave it open to inflate - I was trying to blow. Eventually gave up and slept on a flat mat. It wasn’t until I read the instructions for putting it away that I figured out that it self-inflated - and so quickly. It loves to be inflated, faster to set up than take down! But still fast. I will say I should have read the sizes - the regular is only tall enough for 5’6” tall women with hips around 40” around. If you are 5’8, your feet will be off the end like me! I don’t really notice but I do notice rolling off the sides. I also haven’t been able to figure out how the pillow lock works even though I bought a compatible pillow, so I gave up! I am not sure if this is the best out there, but it served me well. Now I’m looking at bigger, thicker pads. I think this would be great for backpacking though it still rolls up pretty thick.

Meets my sleeping pad needs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this after another company's pad failed after 5 nights use. I find the surface material pleasing to touch, the thickness is perfect and comfy. The width and length also comfy. I am a male, but bought this Women's pad since I am a side sleeper and the sizing meets my needs. Very happy!

Zzzzzzz

I have a upper back issue and have been trying so hard to find a mat that doesn’t kill me in the backcountry. It has finally happened the little extra bulk is worth it. This mat helped me sleep through the night, kept me warm and insulated and is very quiet compared to a lot of other mats.

Purple Plush & Warm Sleep Mat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this sleeping pad at Big Bend National Park for 3 nights I was very pleased. It provided great comfort, ample warmth and had a plush feel. I stayed warm all night, there were no cold spots and my hips didn't sink into the ground. I loved the color however, it is a bit heavy.
