I wear these for sun protection. The fabric is lightweight and the sleeves are long enough to cover part of the hand, which I like. The problem is the hood. On this new version, Columbia has cut the hood back to the ear, so there is no sun protection for the face on the sides. Why change the cut of the hood? It would've been great if you would have left the hood like the old version. Very disappointed. I have an older one that I love. I will return this.

I loved this hoodie out of the shipping box until I saw it has a giant Columbia logo running down the left sleeve which does not show in the website photos. It's pretty ridiculous. I returned it.

She needed sun protection during outdoor activities, and this hoodie has been perfect for that. It’s soft, light, and keeps her cool and covered even on warm sunny days. She especially likes how it fits — not too tight, not too loose. We both feel more comfortable spending time outside now. Highly recommended for anyone sensitive to the sun or just looking for reliable UV protection with great comfort.

As I was traveling in Thailand, it was important to have shoulder and arms covered in some of the temples. This hoodie was light, protective in the sun, and cool enough that I didn't melt in the humidity. I've also found it to be a great fit for the golf course. It offers protection, comfort, and the hood actually worked better than my sun hat.

I wore it outdoors full a full day of farm work in the sun and didn't have to worry about a burn or being too hot, or it getting wet and uncomfortable. It dried quickly after we set irrigation, it was cool and comfortable while working on fence, and it protected my arms/shoulders all day. Definitely see myself ordering more as long as these hold up to a full summer of ranch work.

She saw me wearing another color, asked how I liked it, and then tried this one on. Every day since that she's joined us on the farm she's been wearing it. The color is a great, high-viz, bright coral, and I'll honestly probably order another for myself because of the really useful high-viz color.

It keeps me comfortable whether I’m out in the sun or active in the water. No chafing, no heaviness just effortless wear all day long. The color is absolutely beautiful, too vibrant without being over-the-top, and it holds up well after washing.

I purchased this about a month ago. I love the color and how light the material is. It might run a bit large, in my opinion, compared to other Columbia tops I've purchased but it's a nice top at a good price.
