Great day pack for hiking. The pack is so light and comfortable that I barely feel it even after hiking most of the day. I like how easily accessible the pockets are on top. It’s also the perfect size for my lunch bag, emergency kit, jacket, and first aid kit.
I was in the market for a new backpack for hikes, biking to the library, and walking around the city. Everything about the bag was perfect, but it was WAY to long for my torso. I should've done a better job researching what best fits my torso. oops! My previous pack was 16.5in long which fit me perfectly. This pack is 20in long. The pack I decided to keep is 16.93; fits well! Sad the Nano didn't work out. Also, I bought the "Burnt Amber"; looks a bit different in person. Added photos; hope it makes the color more apparent. If bag fit be better it would've been 5 stars.
I really loved this backpack over several other brands I tried but unfortunately the lower portion of the back dug into my lower back. A few hours after wearing it on a test "hike" in me neighborhood, I felt a soreness in my lower back, almost like a bruise, that lingered for a day. When I put the bag back on I realized the soreness was exactly where the bag was pressing against my back. I fall within the measurements for this bag, but something about it just doesn't fit me right which is super disappointing because this bag is awesome. Things I loved about this bag that sets it apart from other bags in this price range: - clip on the external pocket keeps things secure - shoulder straps are cushiony - zippers have a satisfying grab and open and close easily - grab handle at the top of the bag is thick making it comfortable to hold the bag from the handle - bag holds A LOT without feeling like a large bag - it's really light but doesn't feel cheap or flimsy
This pack checks almost every box for what I want in a day pack. The Nano 20 is lightweight, holds a 3L hydration bladder in a dedicated area and carries all my needed stuff very comfortably. My only gripe is the stretch side pockets. They are almost large enough for a standard 1L nalgene, but not quite. I feel like this could be achieved with very little weight penalty or design change. I primarily use a platy 3L bladder but it's nice to have options and sometimes I prefer to carry nalgene bottles. Overall, this pack is very comfortable and has done great on my first few hikes.
Hiking 12 miles a day in the lake District of England. A perfect pack for 2L of water, water bottle, rain gear and a thermal base. Not too big or two small. Love the 4 separate pockets on a small bag + the venting. Great bag.
I purchased a Nano 20 as an alternative for shorter trips, or where I wanted to carry less gear than my Zulu 35 (family pack horse duties), and to be confident it would be okay for airline carry-on. Overall, very happy with the pack. My 3L 3D Bladder fit nicely, and the pack carried well, even crammed with 3 liters in the reservoir and another spare 1 L of water, rain gear, a fleece, and big lunch on multiple hikes around Acadia National Park. The pockets to stow the hip belt worked nicely. I was a little disappointed that my Nalgene wouldn't fit into the side pockets.
Awesome versatile pack! It is sturdy and stylish. I love all the pockets and the straps keep it secure to your body.
Great backpack, but the mesh tore the first day I used it :/
It's small, functional, and sleek. Very utilitarian.
It’s great in color and volume! Best for hiking!
