Awesome Poles
I got these to replace my many years old Black Diamonds, where the tip had broken off of one of them years ago, and there's no way to replace it so I just finally got tired of having one sort of slippery tip. These Lekis are lightweight, strong, easy to adjust and I like the cork handles. And unless you're over 6'2" this size should work for anybody.
Beautiful Trekking Poles
These are beautiful Trekking Poles; reduce is size nicely to fit into a suitcase and they are very light .
love them!
I don’t know how I hiked before having these. Love the mesh straps. Used them on two hikes so far and held up very well.
First trekking poles, these will last!
Great poles, used them for a 16 mile backpacking trip up San Jacinto Mountain! First time using trekking poles and I wouldn't have survived without these. These were light, stable, and had great cork grips. Only issue I found was that the straps were a little finicky to put on. However, once they're on, they feel great. Adjustability is easy and straps can be removed.
Comfort hiking poles
Excellent and easy length adjustment for hills. Light and strong, love the quick release hand strap. The only worry is first trip there is a little fraying on the hand release cord that developed during one day of use taking the hand strap off the pole. Hope this holds up. Would probably be easy to repair if it breaks.
Great poles, but not the wrist straps
I've been wanting cork handle trekking poles for a while. I got these because they were on sale. I wasn't sure about the wrist strap attachments, but figured I'd give them a try. When I first got them, I thought they were kinda cool. As soon as I started using them on the trail, that all changed. I actually ended up hating them and returned them as soon as I got back from my trip. It all depends on your hiking style and for me, these just didn't work. Pros - Light, nice handles, easy to adjust, collapse to a nice size. Cons - With normal wrist straps, if you need to use your hand then you can just slide them down to your forearm and at least they're still attached to you. With these, when they are hooked to the strap, they make using your hands impossible, so then you have to unclip them and then you risk the chance of dropping them, which I did several times. It became very annoying to have to unclip each time. The other issue I had was when I'm stepping down i.e. climbing down rocks or having to climb over fallen trees, I like to put my hand on top of the trekking pole for balance or support. That's also impossible, you would have to unclip to do that and that becomes cumbersome.
