Comfortable, lightweight, decent sun protection
Super light and comfortable in the heat! I found it true to size and I like the shape and size of the hood (I usually wear it over a baseball cap). It's slightly see-through (can see a pattern/logo if there's one on your bra) but the pattern distorts it enough for me not to mind wearing it at work. It would probably become more see-though if wet, haven't been rained on in it yet. Deducted a star for that and because the fabric is only UPF25 and I wish it was more, that may or may not be a fair deduction since it's clearly labelled in the product description though.
Incredible hoodie
I hiked many trails and tried all kinds of sun hoodies and this one beats them all. Light weight, super roomy and comfortable. The hood fits perfectly and doesn’t fly off in the wind. I ore it over my hat. Recently wore it to 19 miles hike, all exposed in the sun and it was best airflow and sun reflecting hoodie I had. It feels like feather. So happy with this product! I got white and will get another one! For context, I haven’t gave review to any product in years, but this deserves it!!!!
Very breathable and cooling !
I got white in my usual size. Great fit. Highly recommend. First wear was over a swim suit at the beach and was in direct sun during peak hours and was both cool and protected!
Ok. Didn’t love the material.
Fit was ok in a small. I am between a small and medium. This could have worked but I didn’t like the material. Very scratchy and uncomfortable. I have other Terramar that I really like in a medium. This was not it. Returned
Runs Large!
Took a change as I never purchased a Terramar product before but it's not for me. The sizing is way bigger than a Patagonia Medium which is what I always wear - my whole closet is a medium.
Do not buy
Terrible quality, thumb hole somehow are uneven, stains don’t come off easily, which is a little silly since you need to wear these outside. After a couple of wears I feel is falling apart
Deceptive Photo - See-through Fabric
The picture is completely deceptive, obscuring how see-through the hoodie is. I bought the white one and the fabric is completely see-through. Unable to return it because it's a final sale.
Great in the sun and heat
Got this on sale last minute and wore on The Loowit trail in WA state. It was a hot day very exposed in the 80s and this is breathable, wind comes through and dries really fast, so I loved putting water in arms and allowing them to cool. It doesn’t have as much spf as some but I didn’t burn at all and the hood has great coverage up over your mouth.
Cute and fuctional
This fits me perfectly over a t shirt (xs) so sizing is good. It is very light weight and I will use it for travel as an extra layer. Hopefully the hood will be a plus in windy conditions.
