Little large for an 8x7 tent

My tent basically sat right on it, rather than the footprint being smaller to keep water from getting between the tent & footprint. But we had no rain, so I need to experiment in the backyard to see how to ‘shrink’ it. Think I can work with the loops to tie it back a bit while still using the tent stakes to secure it. We did have condensation under the footprint, but none on the tent bottom. So that was a positive.

fit perfect

This fit perfectly for the tent and came in a small bag so it is easy to store. I like that it easily connects to the tent.

Yes and No

It is a good footprint, and especially necessary like if you're going to deal with a rainy weekend, however the tabs that hang on to the tent stakes need more bulk/durability; after one use, one of the four was a bit threadbare/shredded. And this is if you use a more durable tent stake, not the main Kelty tentstakes; those work but are basically useless in certain soil types seeing they are super slick and tend to spin/loosing grip on holding the tent/footprint tabs down.
