[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket 2 months ago and am leaving another review now that I’ve had the chance to use it. It’s very cute and I love the pockets and cinched waist, however the hood doesn’t stay up. The hood falls back as you walk, and if there’s even a slight breeze forget about it staying up. Due to this reason, you can’t wear it in the rain because your face and head will get soaked. The whole reason I bought this jacket was to wear while hiking on a September trip to Seattle which will inevitably be rainy, and now I can’t use it for its intended purpose. Waste of money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally bought a black XXL because I'm typically an XL and I wanted room for a sweatshirt underneath. It was waaay too big. I returned it at the store and after trying them on I got a Large in Stone. It is still comfortable with a sweatshirt underneath and the slightly fitted look creates a better silhouette. The stone is really pretty and a nice departure from typical black. It kept me warm in 37 degree weather yesterday. I spilled salsa on it and it came right off without staining since it is rain-proof material—hoping that will keep the stone color clean.
Usually wear small and sized up as recommended in reviews. Medium was snug. Was hoping to layer underneath and will not be able to. The most disappointing thing about this jacket is that it is absolutely not waterproof. I wore it out in the rain to run in and out of the grocery store and my hair (with the hood on) and sweatshirt were wet when I took it off. I live in Vegas and we don’t get a lot of rain and this jacket couldn’t even handle that! was expecting a great jacket for the price I paid. Disappointed with Columbia. Save your money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this in late summer. It’s nice, just slightly warm with the lovely fleece lining. Because the arms are lined with fleece, it’s difficult to slide on quickly over long sleeved garments like a smoother lining would do. I always wondered why jackets had satin lined arms, now I know! I like that there are good-sized flap pockets so items won’t fall out easily. The hood doesn’t have a drawstring, and I find it doesn’t stay on my head well. It slips back. Some adjustability here would be helpful. I wanted to love the jacket, but I don’t.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Columbia rain jacket, and I’m really impressed. It’s cute, comfy, and functional. I’m 5'7" and 175 lbs, and the large fits me perfectly with plenty of room to layer underneath. The material feels well-made and durable. I also appreciate how it builds on design elements from their other jackets that I liked, such as the cinched waist. I haven’t had the chance to test it in the rain yet, but so far, I’m very happy with my purchase!
I think Colombia is the only one that makes a fleece lined raincoat and I absolutely love it for cold rain. You CAN layer in other rain coats but when you just want a quick trip to take the dogs out in the rain in the cold weather nothing beats a warm rain coat when you don’t need a heavy winter coat. Keep making them!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great light weight, washable, lined, hooded coat for in between weather. Perfect for travel. Love the front drawstring styling at the waist. All pockets zip or snap close to keep my phone and sunglasses safe. Confident the material will not tear when hiking on boulders or between trees.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this raincoat. It’s nice and warm and soft on the inside. I love the fit. I love that it can be baggy or it can be more fitted to your waist. And I love the length that comes down to the perfect place. This is a great purchase.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fit. I went a size up to comfortably fit a fleece underneath for a wintery day and it worked perfectly. Can be more fit with the draw strings or loose depending on need. Great for travel as a diverse coat for weather variability.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sharp looking jacket but most importantly I stayed dry! One day it poured on us. Ordered a size larger for layering. Comfy lining for warmer days.
