[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an Oregon Girl This jacket is perfect to wear and take on hikes for the warmer months ahead. It's super light weight and comfy. I like that it keeps me protected against critters like mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies and more Thanks to this being treated with an insect shield repellent that remains effective after 70 washes! This also has an integrated mesh face mask that is built into the hood for extra protection against bugs that simply pulls over my head and face. It has Uv ray protection too, along with moisture wicking technology to help with sweat.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife picked this jacket, and she really loves it. It fits perfectly for her size. It is a very lightweight jacket that is easy to pack and has good breathability. She said it is very comfortable and good for hiking, including there is an insect shield along a hoody, which is an interesting design. The jacket looks very quality, with a good zipper coming with 3 outside and 2 inside pockets. Very useful.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 10/10 would recommends very light weight. I recommend using their size finder as I did size up in this jacket. I’m glad I did because it would have been uncomfortable otherwise. The net that goes over the face is hilarious but camping here I come! It only comes in 3 colors and I wish there were more options in that department
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't put this to use in the field yet, but it appears to be a quality product. It both feels and fits much more like a lightweight jacket than a shirt. The material seems durable but it's not very soft. It is a full zip front, back vents, and lots of pockets: 2 for your hands on both side, a front chest pocket, and open pockets on the interior where you could stash a lightweight pair of gloves, scarf, etc. I bought size small and it is roomy--easy to wear even a long sleeve T-shirt underneath. I usually wear a small to medium in tops because of broad shoulders. If you want to wear it as a shirt, be aware it runs large/boxy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You’ll kinda look like a bee keeper! But it’s so light and breathable. It has REALLY nice pockets and the face net is a really good size to ensure you’re covered. I didn’t notice any mosquitoes trying to bite me while my friends were complaining about them. Definitely recommended.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This skien valley hooded LS shirt is comfortable and breathable. For true to size. I sized up to medium so I can wear layers underneath. Beast feature is the netting to prevent pesky mosquito bites on your face.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super lightweight and comfy jacket! Loving the little mosquito netting on the hoodie. No bugs are getting to this face anytime soon! Great summertime jacket!
I bought this jacket primarily for yesterday’s 10k event. There was a chance of heavy rain and I needed a hood, yet I was looking for light material that wouldn’t be hot or weigh me down. It was perfect! Thankfully, it only sprinkled and I didn’t use the hood and I wrapped the jacket around my waist, but it didn’t get in the way at all. I love the color and see many years of use ahead on trails or just around town. Great buy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this lightweight, bug-repellent jacket! Haven't worn it outside yet, but seems to be well made and definitely roomy enough for layers underneath. With the hood and net down, I was fully protected and (as an added bonus) looked like the main character from The Curse of La Llorona. The net can be easily folded out of the way too, which is a nice design.
Love the weight and shape of this jacket. I’m using it in Australia in the rainforest, the bug protection is fantastic. It’s light enough to wear even in the hot weather and the UPF makes it an all around great lightweight jacket for hot sunny places. I wear a small to a medium, I purchased a medium it fits fantastic not too tight, but also not too big.
