Cotopaxi  Allpa Getaway Duffel Bag - 70 L

This bag is awesome! I've given it to both of my kids as a gift after their freshman year in college. My niece just graduated high school and is going to school in TX(from SC) so thought it'd be perfect to give her now. My kids have used it for numerous trips cross country and my daughter has packed it as her solo bag for 3 week trips(J-term)to Brazil, Costa Rica, New Zealand and Copenhagen! 4 years later the bag still looks brand new! My favorite part of the bag is the bottom compartment where they can separate shoes or dirty clothes from their clean clothes! I will definitely be giving this bag again!

I'm not one to splurge on myself. I am an EMT/firefighter and a full-time college student. I need a bag for my bunker gear, my EMS clothes, extra clothes, and boots for college. I live out of this bag. I was searching between Patagonia, north face, and Cotopaxi. I ended up going with the Cotopaxi, and I'll tell you what, I made the right choice. I love it! its BIG. I haven’t used this for travel yet but so far it seems fantastic and just what I wanted. Love the colors and the textures of the material. It is very well made. And the size and compartments are exactly what I was hoping for. So far it seems like it’s worth every penny which is good cause I believe I’ll soon be living out of it as a seasonal working nomad.

This bag rips ! I use it for the gym, which some may say could be overkill. They would be wrong. Fits my sneakers, the belt of power, snacks, shaker, with room enough for a pterodactyl youngling.

Love this, this is just for a plane trip, but It involves cars planes 3 locations .

Love this duffel bag and all the compartments for organizing. This is a replacement for the same duffel where exterior material delaminated. I’m hoping there has been a change to protect from that happening again. The exterior pockets and locations are great for tucking smaller items and being able to reach for things in the dark and know exactly where they are. I use the bottom zip compartment for dirty clothes. The interior mesh pockets are nice for smaller toiletry items. I’ve used this for multi stage racing for my gear, car travel and overnight excursions. The backpack straps are helpful for short stints when going up/down stairs. There is no shoulder strap, but I think the size of the duffel would make that uncomfortable anyway. The colors are a fun change from all my black travel gear. This bag is really well organized. Zippers are sturdy and functional. One star off due to my concern for the longevity of the exterior material.

Getting ready to take my first trip with the Alpha Getaway. I really like it and should fit my needs perfectly. Two very minor things…the snaps on the piece that holds the handles together were really difficult to snap,together. And while imagine it’s a strength issue, I’d like to see buckles on the lower end of the backpack straps so they’re easier to get in and off as I don’t want to leave the straps on when I check it for flying. But both of those are me being really picky!!

I was hesitant to spend this much on a bag, but knowing the quality and the way that Cotopaxi makes their products, I finally purchased it! I absolutely love this bag. It’s sturdy, beautiful, and somehow holds way more than I expect every time I pack it. I really love having both the handles and backpack straps because it makes traveling so much easier. It feels super well made and ready for any adventure! No regrets at all! Highly recommend! ❤️

Took the duffle on first trip to the wilds of Idaho last week, really appreciated the ability to “use” as a large backpack allowing free hands for the mountains of items the rest of the family brought along! Impressed with the ruggedness of the materials and ability to fold it away for easy storage both during the trip and afterwards. Bought one for my wife too and she was easily able to carry on her back so only good news for me !!

I travel for work weeks at a time on a boat, and this bag is perfect! It fits everything I need for 6 weeks and then packs down to nothing for storage onboard! The material feels strong but light, and the backpack straps a huge plus for hauling through the airport. I think it's going to be a great bag for my extended trips!
