Wash instructions: Hand wash. Use mild wool detergent in warm water, gently press a few times, do not rub, rinse well. Lay flat to air dry. Do not wring or iron. No bleach, no fabric softener, no dry cleaning.

Each bag then gets 2 ratings: the Comfort rating is the lowest temperature at which the bag will keep the average "cold sleeper" comfortable, and the Lower Limit rating is the lowest temperature at which the bag will keep the average "warm sleeper" comfortable. Some brands determine their own temperature rating by aligning to the Comfort rating for women’s bags, to the Lower Limit rating for men’s bags, or somewhere in the middle for nongendered bags.

I bought this exped bag because it matches the exped luxewool mattress I got at a REI garage sale in Denver. I also bought the pillow: I couldn't be happier! I live the color, quality and comfort so much I could kiss a mouse! I highly recommend the whole set.

Great Quality until Washtime
No, I do not recommend this product
The bag is made very well and I appreciate it high-quality material. Unfortunately washing is troublesome in the washing machine and you can't bring it to Drycleaners and it takes a very careful hand washing with woolight, which takes a long time.

Sleeping with it now
Down has always been more packable that wool. But you can't compress down and keep it as an emergency blanket in your hot car then hope it lofts later. This wool sleeping bag and blanket packs and stores well, And it is super comfy. Yes I tried it and now use it regularly. The sleeping bag by itself is borderline comfy with out a pad or mattress. I really feel there is a comeback story for wool.

Love this bag
I run hot, and don't tolerate synthetic materials in clothing or sleeping materials. I get over heated easily in a regular sleeping bag and consequently don't sleep well. This bag (and the LuxeWool blanket) are the answers to my prayers for better camping options! I can use the blanket in warmer conditions, the sleeping bag in cooler conditions, and both together when its really cold. Yay!
