I wore these pants on my 2 week hiking trip through Banff and Glacier national parks. If you are looking for your new favorite COMFORTABLE pair of 100% cotton pants for hiking or just everyday, these are it! They are not form fitting, def baggy but that’s the style. I’m normally a S or M (~135 lb, 5 ft 8) and the M is very roomy. My weight fluctuates a lot so I love that I will be able to wear these when my body changes and the waistband and adjustable belt are super comfy. I already called to see if they will be releasing any other colors because I’d love to buy more!
My friend said I looked like I have a fupa and had to explain to me what that is… this pant cut in unisex just does not work for a woman’s body. Period. I ordered a size M and struggled to get these over my hips but had to fasten the waist in a lot. There’s so much excess fabric in the front that there’s no way these would be good with a harness and I don’t think the design team at Prana climbs, because for these to be good climbing pants, they need articulated knees. The cotton fabric feels so soft, and I wanted to love these, but I’m going to get a new pair of Black Diamond’s that are actually designed for climbing instead.
Okay I love these. I am pregnant and sized up in hopes to be comfortable through pregnancy, since I gained hormonal weight in my very early weeks, and think they'll be great post delivery. I think that I'll be wearing them for most of the time, except maybe when I'm getting very very large. The waistband is a belt, so the stretch game is definitely there. It won't stretch ALL the way, but it is forgiving. The material is solid. They are high raise, meaning they don't dig into my gut. The crotch seem is triangular!! This means I'm much less worried about the seam-line ripping or wearing with time. I've been wearing them weekly and am so glad I made this purchase. Might get another color...
man, i like these pants. these are cool pants. however, the way they drape on my frame balloons awkwardly like a diaper no matter what i do. maybe not for petite people. also if you are sensitive to tight elastic, they would probably need surgery to take it out. otherwise comfy.
As someone with longer legs (I'm 5'8), I usually have to special order tall sizes online. These pants are the perfect length for me when un cuffed. The fabric is soft and extremely comfortable. Please make more like this! or have different inseams for us tall folk 👏🏼
Great climbing pants! The color hides chalk well. Size down, they run a bit large. I’ve gotten many compliments wearing them!
Great pant to climb in, hike in and dress up for work
Fabric is lovely and soft but they wear hard. Very comfy and fit well (a little baggy/slouchy). I like them so much I have four pair.
These pants are so comfortable! I have worn them on hikes with the dog, while gardening in the yard, around the house as comfy pants, and even out for bar trivia. At 220lbs, 5’9”, with a curvy/muscular lower body, I am a larger lady with thighs and a butt, so I typically have to size up for pull-on pants to be sure I can wiggle in. I got these in an XL and am so pleasantly surprised that they more than accommodate thick thighs. They are even a little baggy and I have to tighten the cinch belt quite a bit. I will be purchasing a Large soon and I’m hopeful they'll be more fitted but still relaxed look. The fabric is thick but soft and breathable, and I’ve been comfortable on cool evenings and hot days. Very happy with this purchase!!
I’ve been waiting for Prana to make pants in their women’s line that are actually functional and not focused on shaping or accentuating features that I don’t care about when trying to climb or move outdoors. These are definitely more relaxed, comfortable pants and I really like the style, but the fit in the front is off. The fabric pouches out unless I’m pressing my pelvis forward, which looks and feels awkward. The belt opening is also too small for the included belt. It folded the belt in half on the first wear, and I had to use a seam cutter to open it up and sew it again so it would fit right. They’re so close to being great, but those design flaws really take away from what could have been almost perfect and because of this, I cannot bring myself to order more pairs.
