I love these socks, they’re so soft and comfortable, but also give a little support and cushion without being too bulky. The height is perfect to keep debris from getting in, they stay up but don’t have too Much compression that they’re ever uncomfortable. I picked up two more pair after wearing these once, totally recommend.
Love these. Order small and are perfect for my 6.5 size shoe. Love them!
Amazing insulation and padding- makes hikes easier and even daily work. great for rougher terrain as well as concrete and hardwood floors. If you hate slippers- these are great house socks when they're not in the bush :)
I have 3 drawers full of Smart Wool and Darn Tough socks for different uses. I bought this pair to add to my collection because they go with an outfit I made. I also wore them yesterday with my running shoes for an exercising walk and the cushioning is feels wonderful. So these are not only beautiful and last a very long time; they are comfortable and optimally functional!
Nice shoe, with an appropriately aggressive sole, but too narrow in the toe area, and does not accommodate a foot with a high instep. The fit is not at all similar to the Moab 3 or Thermo Rogue Fours I purchased. It’s a pity Merrell doesn’t offer a wide width, or small men’s sizes (7) in this shoe, both of which would have a better chance of fitting me.
These are noticeably thinner with less cushioning than the identical pairs I bought and adore a year or two prior. It's disappointing. I'm hanging on to them to use in a pair of trail shoes that are tighter than my hiking boots but it's kinda pricey even on sale, now that they're not what the were. Bummer...
I have been wearing this brand of socks for 20 years. They always do me right.
run a bit small but I like smart wool in general.
