Bought these last spring while they were still doing them in the Specialized collaboration, got them for a bike tour in Japan where they were great in the cool damp spring conditions on-and-off the bike. Little warm for high output riding, but fine for normal effort. Primarily using them bike commuting and hiking/whatever since then, really comfortable for the cool damp PNW winters. The breathable rear half does a good job at venting and the front is reasonably good at wind/water blocking. Needs a belt to stay right, I'm normally 32x32 and they waist is a hair big, not a big deal.
I bought a pair of these about a year ago before they were released at a sample sale. Primarily I’ve used them as general purpose pants around town but have also done some biking in them as well. They’re super comfortable, very durable, and extremely versatile with regards to temperature control. They’re super comfortable do a great job keeping you warm when it’s cold, and block the wind really well on a bike and when it’s windy and cold. I love the pockets as well!! Really fantastic placement. The one and only issue that I’ve had is that the inner pocket material catches on the zipper and can tear the material. Pretty minor issue that is easily repaired, but it is kinda annoying on occasion. Overall, would absolutely recommend these pants. They’re super comfortable look great on top of everything else.
Really happy with these pants. I've ridden them both for commuting and MTB a dozen times now. Well built with good features - particularly the pockets, which have great placement to avoid annoying me when I'm pedaling and double as vents. 5'11 with 34” waist, athletic build, and the 50 fit perfect.
I've been looking for pants that I can wear on my bike and then straight into the office or a restaurant. They are exactly what I've been looking for. They look super good and feel very comfortable. After I got these, I immediately bought the Hoja shorts too!
These make great all rounder pants. Equally good on the bike as they are on the trail.
I love these pants, I have two pairs of them and wear them whenever I ride my bike. Normally I'm a size 36 US, so I had to size up to a 38 US The front is made of a sturdy but light fabric that has saved my knees from a pretty bad crash without tearing. and the back is made from a very stretchy spandex that is superbly comfortable. I love the reflecting material in the cuffs. the pockets act as vents, so open them up to let some air in. They also have a little key interior pocket. The elastic waistband in the back ensures that they stay secured and tight when I'm bending over and riding my bike. These feel very intelligently designed with some minor drawbacks that I think could be improved: Issues I have for future improvement: 1. My keyring gets caught on the pockets pretty often, since they use a mesh material. 2. Sometimes when i hop up onto my seat while standing over the bike, the seat catches the fabric on my butt. I keep thinking that it might tear, but so far the fabric is pretty strong. 3. the groin fits awkwardly on my body when I sit on my bike, causing a bit of a sandwich effect where the top and bottom squeeze down on sensitive areas while providing ample room in other directions.
