DO NOT BUY. Kelty's quality control has gone the drain. I own multiple Kelty products (three loveseats), a sleeping bag, and shade tarp. I was excited for this chair as I love adirondack chairs. Well, give this one a HARD PASS! This was a direct order from Kelty. The chair's frame, both sides, came with clear damage on them and not from shipping (box had no damage). One chair frame looked like it had been melted, where the plastic has a shine to it from being exposed to heat. Then it also had cuts in it. The area where a locking pin inserts into the frame had clear wear marks from use. The other frame had paint missing. Normally, I'd shrug some of this off, but combined this is pathetic quality control by Kelty. The damage on the frames are also on the forward face of the front legs. How do you miss this unless you knowingly shipped a damaged/used chair?!! Kelty's response...here's Fedex label. Package it up, take it to a fedex, and when it ships, then we'll send you a new frame. So now I can't use the chair I ordered, as I wait for a new frame. Yes, it's no big deal to drop it off at a Fedex and pack it up first...but send me the frame now. As for the rest of the chair, it appears to be decent quality. Comfort wise it is OK, but does not feel very sturdy. The assembly is not difficult, but multiple holes for the locking pins were not cut/drilled to the right diameter. One pin could not even be inserted...so might not as sturdy without it.
