Smartwool  Everyday Button-Down Shirt - Women's

Cute shirt, but it's not wool. The main shirt material is polyester. It's only the small amount of trim that has some wool in it. It's also a bit dumpy if you're petite.

Great prints and quality, enough so that I will keep them and 'make them work. ' But I will not be making additional purchases. As a tall woman (5'11), I regret to report that the fit cookies the recent trend of being short in the torso. The tag of the shirt reports it as XL/TG, but length does not reflect that. The bottom button is even with my belly button. I will have to wear these with high waisted bottoms only. For the price, competitors carry much better fitting shirts in the length.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect way to layer a tank top in summer and fall so you don't get shoulders burnt. Very comfortable true to size. I got an xl and thats my normal size shirt. I was worried that a button up would not fit well( my bra size is 38H )normal button ups gap at boobs but this did not it has plenty of stretch. Also love the length of this shirt. I m 5'1 and camp shirts swallow me up so I absolutely love how this shirt is shorter

This is my second shirt. I bought the first one with a gift certificate, thinking wow the price is not what I am used to pay…. Well, that changed the instant I first wore it. It is sooooo comfortable. Even when you are hot there is no smell, and trust me, even at 41 C (like 110 F) it feels wonderful… will not stick on your back, always feel fresh…. This is the Best Buy for travel as well, washes easy and dries fast…. Love it!

I wear to work on warmer days. I like how the sleeves fall a bit lower on my upper-arm; more flattering and more sun-coverage. The wool-blend panels under each arm keep me more breathably cool and no odor build-up over multi-day (3/4) days use without laundering. The fabric's non-sheer and drapes beautifully. I wish it was still available in the tropical pattern. But I have the blue and love that. Glad to have this cooling shirt!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really really wanted to love this. I love the pattern and the colors but I just couldn't stand the polyester fabric. If I saw this on the rack at the store, I'd gravitate to it for the color/pattern and then immediately put it back as soon as I touched it. Polyester is just not my thing, I don't like the way it feels on my skin. There is a wool inset panel but not really noticable. The fit is boxy.

This blouse fits well and looks great. It’s cool in warm weather and easy to clean. I’m looking forward to traveling with it since I can wear it in both casual and business environments. I usually wear something between a medium and a large (size 10) and went with a large for this order, and it fits perfectly.

Teacher PD week. Needed something reasonably professional for meetings, but also durable enough to handle hauling boxes from my car to my classroom. This shirt fit the bill and handled the task, especially since it was insanely hot outside and cold indoors. Also received many compliments.

I got this in Paisley and am now ordering another in M. Yes, it seems like it a little big but it will allow for layering w/ a sun shirt. It will get a lot of wear this year, including an Africa trip with luggage weight restrictions. Just what I wanted!

I absolutely love these shirts (I've bought one in every color) as they look great and feel great, even in super hot temps. They ride that line between casual and something a bit spiffier, which is my vibe, for sure.
