Hood extra benefit
A huge benefit of the hood is that it also eliminates or reduce the condensation under the fabric of the front porch and that, if you want ,instead of drying it off, you cn remouve it when wet. BTW, yes it can be left attached when packing, I do. A ground cloth in the porch area also helps to reduce condensation from ground evaporation...
Evo TL Roof
I’m so glad I purchased this item, was sceptical about it thinking it was just an extra cost and that my tent would be ok without it.. I was proven wrong! The huge reduction in condensation and the light difference made our last camping trip so comfortable. To add there was 7 people sleeping in the Evo TL V2, 3-6°c overnight, just make sure you have a large area to hang & dry the roof out.
Great added purchase
This was a good wee extra to our Evo tent purchase. It kept the temperature down during the day, and helped with blacking out the tent at night. We did wake up at 3am with unexpected high winds and had to take it off but the way it attached made it so easy to remove even in the wind and the dark.
EVO TS roof cover worth having
The first time we used this we had some rain with heavy drops from in the trees above us. It’s super easy to fit and it felt a lot better knowing there was the extra protection. Definitely worth having.
