Damaged - Shipped in original box
The box looked okay but I immediately noticed it was not in a shipping box rather in it's display box! So I was not surprised to find it damaged since it had little to no protection while being shipped. The corners did not even have styrofoam bumpers rather individual lateral thin foam pieces. The latch was bent and unable to close and the corner was dented in.
Pretty Darn Good
Overall, this stove did the job I needed it to do. I cooked steaks, beans, bacon, and eggs for two people on this stove over the course of a weekend trip. I also used it to boil water for coffee and tea. It is fuel efficient, as I did not even use a whole canister of Coleman propane. It's light enough, though I wouldn't want to carry it too far. I hauled it three miles in and out to our campsite, and I wouldn't want to carry it much further than that. It also does not have a dedicated handle with which to carry it. I'm sure it would have been an absolute chore to haul it as far as I did if I had needed to carry it by hand. As it happens, It is perfectly sized to be carried using the overload feature of my Mystery Ranch Terraframe pack. Another issue is the adhesive on the knobs. The aluminum caps are glued to plastic knobs underneath. One of these aluminum caps fell off if my hand the very first time I tried to turn the dial. Not a huge deal because I can just superglue it back on myself, but it would have been nice to not have to do so. It serves it's purpose, and I am positive most people will not be carrying it over as much distance as I was. In a car camping situation, this stove is just about as ideal as I could ask for. It's easy to use, easy to clean, has good simmer control, and cooks up a mean steak. If it had a dedicated handle, it would be five stars for me.
Very well made
This is very well made stove. I've had Coleman's in the past and this is on another level. I am very impressed with the quality and ease of use.
Cannot Recommend
Pros: Wide burners, great for 2 full-size skillets or pot. Cons: Regulator Malfunctions at temps below 45°F. Slight breezes that manage to reach the burners make the stove sound like a train. Gets louder the higher the flame. Locking mechanisms rusted within a few days, along with the other "stainless steel" accents.
Great unit (even if the toaster thing is a bit fiddly)
Overall, an excellent product. Easy to setup and clean. I was amazed at the variance with the burners. You can get them really low for simmering, which is unusual for camp stoves. The only thing that lets it down from 5 stars is the toaster part doesn't connect that well to the main body and is a bit fiddly to deal with.
