NEMO  Dagger OSMO 3P Footprint

I don't understand how this attaches to the tent. The instructions reference some axial corner connectors that my tent does not have. Maybe I am crazy.

So I saw another reviewer's rating and pictures and was worried the footprint I had bought would not work with my Dagger 3P Tent....HOWEVER, it looks as though there is a design flaw, or mix-up, or change that happened along the way. The footprint I received had plastic hooks (not fabric loops like now pictured in the product image). I did buy my footprint back in Nov. or Dec. of 2024 so I believe the change or issue happened after that because the product image at that time reflected the color coded yellow and grey straps with the plastic hooks at the ends. I have attached photos of the directions on the footprint I received, (since they are different than the other reviewer's directions on the footprint they received, and now look like sections/tent styles were combined) as well as photos of the hooks or clamps on the footprint I have. I really like the product I received and would give it 5 stars 🌟 🌟 ⭐ 🌟 🌟....BUT if I bought this today and received the product the other reviewer did I would be upset...so I'm rating this as "average" with 3 stars in the hopes someone along the way will notice this issue and correct either the product description (ex: Is this for a certain year Dagger 3P???), or is this a design/manufacturing mistake???, or just a mix-up with promotion of this product??? Definitely check to make sure the ends of the footprint you receive attach/match the tent you purchased (not just in name but also in reality) for this product, ESPECIALLY for the price point.

I love how easy that the foot print hooks onto the foot cleats of my dagger 2p tent. I have noticed that they fall off easily as they do not lock onto the foot cleats. If they could improve on anything it would be a clasp that prevents the foot print from falling off. This would also allow me to keep the foot print attached the tent while backpacking then remove it when home to wash and store the tent.

Some reviewers reported an issue connect the footprint to the rent. I just received the tent and footprint. There was no issue with connecting footprint to the tent. It was very quick and straightforward. I am unsure in there was an issue with prior models.

Good footprint for my Dagger but my suggestion is to exchange the cleats / clips from the footprint with those from the inner tent so you can pitch your tent without inner tent in case of rain and keep the innertent dry (MSR HH has it)

I didn't take this out of the bag until I was out in the woods. There were no clips. Fortunately, we had a couple of extra stakes and a couple of binder clips, so it worked out. Otherwise, it does what it's supposed to do.

I bought this to accompany my Dagger and protect my investment, so far it has done that exceptionally. Works as can be expected and cleans up well.

Packable, durable, and lightweight - it fits well and covers all the bases.

What is there to say? This is s great footprint that does the job.
