If your rainwear is wetting out even after cleaning and drying, we suggest you apply a new coating with a wash-in or spray-on DWR product (not included).

Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements.
SHORT: Some pants are available in short sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 2.5 inches shorter than regular sizes.
TALL: Some pants, shirts, jackets and parkas are available in tall sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 3 inches longer and a rise that is 1 inch longer, a shirt or jacket body that is 2 inches longer, a parka body that is 2.5 inches longer and sleeves that are 2.5 inches longer than regular sizes.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.

No armpit zips like the regular XeroCloud 3L!

I wanted a longer version of a rain jacket, and I thought this would be the perfect one, especially since the regular XeroCloud 3L has very good reviews. Turns out, this Long version has one critical omission: It does NOT have armpit zips like the regular-length XeroCloud 3L jackets! Why would they take this out from the Long version, it doesn't make sense! This should literally be a carbon-copy of that regular jacket, but longer to cover more of your thighs. But no armpit zips for ventilation makes this jacket a non-starter unless you live in colder climate like the Pacific Northwest.

Why would REI remove the zipper armpits? Especially when you're paying for this version is baffling. Try to get a tall version of the regular version if you need extra length instead of this version.
