Open back, wide front, sore soles
Nice wide toe box…possibly wider than Altra and Xero. The insole is pretty hard. If you’re not used to walking in shoes with no padding, prepare for sore soles of your feet. Biggest complaint is that little rocks and pebbles get sucked in from the open back and then make it to the front to rattle around between your toes in the the ample toe box. Overall a pretty ugly shoe that somewhat bridges the gap between a trail runner and a hiking boot. It’s a weird combination for sure.

Tiny shoe
The sizing is completely off. By a size or more. They are so small that I am wondering if there was a production error. Can’t replace because sizes no longer available.

Well-considered tech sandal

These are a very comfortable technical sandal that fills the need in different situations. I can walk for miles because the shoe is dialed in to my foot—and my feet are picky. They’re a next-level Boston in their accessibility (once you have adjusted them to your feet) and feel great walking around the patio or neighborhood or trail and bouldering and biking…they flex, metaphorically and actually, really well

Bedrock on sizing and zero drop fit

Writing this review because sizing seems to be a big question when doing the research. I have been wearing zero drops for a few years so my feet have spread a bit. I used to be a solid 10.5 in merrels and most shoes but have been buying 11s for a while now, average width (though i prefer the wider toe box). Measure out, my feet are probably a solid 10 3/4. Bought the 11m and 12m to make sure the fit was correct and ended sticking with the 11m. Wear them mostly without socks, though thinner socks (toe socks) are still ok. And they have stretched a bit left to right as well--not much though. The size up (12m) was a bit sloppy and the leather "gathered" even with the adjustments on the buckles. Water resistance seems good as far as staining and drying and they are getting a nice patina to them. Great all around shoes.

All around Awesome Hiking Clog

A very unique and durable hiking clog. The front is quite spacious, which works well because I have wide feet from walking barefoot. I love the Vibram soles and can walk all day in these; it's definitely closer to a barefoot feel than Chaco's or other hiking sandals. The adjustable top and back strap allow for a casual loose fit or a very secure fit if you need to walk on more treacherous terrain.

Not wide enough toe box, weird sizing

I’m 8.5-9W and ordered two sizes: 9W too small, 10W too large. Might have gone with 10W by adjusting the back strap but the problem is that the toe box is not wide enough for my big toe to move. Think that this fits closer to Lems than Altra. Very bummed

Perfect Clog

These are the best clogs out there in my view. Durability is outstanding and they serve me well for hikes, mountain biking, walks and leisure. Really comfortable. Ordered for delivery to my local REI store. Arrived a day in advance of promise - REI as always a good shopping experience.

I Adore These Shoes

The fit, the wide toe box, the rubber toe guard, the nice leather, the strap at the back, the sturdy sole are great. The only thing I did to personalize my Bedrock slip on shoes was to get leather inner soles a 2mm foam bed from Rose Anvil website so that I could make an impression of my foot and have a leather half insole which had *my* foot impression. Once I was happy with the foot impression in the leather inner soles, I removed the 2mm foam bed.

Very comfortable

Very comfortable but they do run small. I normally wear a 10 and had to buy an 11. They fit great and I love all the adjustments you can make on them to get the fit just perfect.

Great idea that needs better execution, IMO.

I'd give it 5 stars with better insole cushions and a *far, far less fussy* strap mechanism. I walked a 2-mile innercity loop through lots of broken pavement, sunken asphalt divots and other gentrification mess. Fortunately I didn't pick up any garbage in the shoe, and the outsole stability and toe protection were great, but even with midweight sox, feeling every bit of "talus" on the trail got old real fast. So does the thud of descending stairs. Also having to diddle around with the straps for 5 minutes each time I put them on or take them off. These are clogs—hiking clogs at that. I expect them to compete with better with Birkie, Ugg, Keen and other outdoor clogs at this price.

A great wide toe box shoe!

These are fantastic, comfortable, and practical shoes for wearing every day. I bought them in a size 6 in womens originally, and found they were far too small in length (width was fine) and my toenails were constantly pressing against the shoe. I purchased a 7 in womens and they fit so much better. I can wear the 7s barefoot or with socks no issues. I normally wear a 6 or 6.5 in womens shoes depending on the brand and type of shoe. I believe on Bedrock's website there is a shoe sizing guide printable that may be of use to you (I did not use this). The adjustability of these shoes is fantastic and exactly what I needed in a clog. I originally bought the Birkenstock Tokios and could not seem to get them to fit me correctly even with adjusting the straps. I think that has something to do with the fact the suede stretches out over time as you wear it. I love all the different strap adjustments the Bedrock clog has, it makes it feel like I can get a perfect fit. There is one buckle on the top of the shoe that acts as a "quick release" / tightener. This has been fantastic for just slipping the shoes on and off and is my favorite feature. The soles are comfortable, but be careful if you have never worn a barefoot-type shoe before. These aren't like Birkenstock clogs. The sole feels more like a Chaco in stiffness and cushion and less like a Teva XLT2. I had a little bit of soreness in my heels my first time wearing them walking a few miles, but nothing unbearable. It may take time to adjust to the sole. The color of the leather (Driftwood Grey) is slightly different in person - maybe due to the fact all leather has slight color differences. In person, it leans more brown than the photos.
