I regret nothing

As a caveat, this is my first hiker backpack. I’ve been hiking for years in a commuter backpack so I finally decided to upgrade. Excellent backpack-I have hiked over 50 miles with in and done a one night backpacking trip. It can fit a surprising amount of stuff and around 25 lbs of weight without issue. One of the chest clips slipped off during a hike but I was able to easily slide it back on. The frame is very comfy. I haven’t had any issues with the straps other than that. The waist pockets are a bit hard to open but nothing worth complaining over. All in all, I have no regrets about this backpack.

This is a good, solid pack

This pack is very comfortable to carry- I've only had it out once, but it was for a 15-mile hike and I loaded it with 17-20 lbs of weight for training purposes. I was able to adjust the various straps to fit my body and so I had no chaffing or pinching during my hike. The many pockets seem perfect to hold all necessary gadgets and equipment for a long hike or 1-night hike. So far so good!

Missing some key features

This bag is really comfortable and easy to adjust to your size. It’s also pretty light weight. Gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because the description states it has a separate sleeping bag compartment which isn’t what I would consider this. It does have a zipper on the bottom for access to the bag but no separation or divider between the bottom and top. A little disappointing as I like the additional organization but overall a good bag.

Top Load Only

Beautiful bag, great colors and a decent amount of pockets and zipper pouches, but I could not stand the top load only function. I may predict it’s not that big of a deal to some, but for me it wasn’t gunna work. I returned and replaced with Maya 40 which is almost identical but with top and front load capabilities at similar price. Again, beautiful bag, spacious and functional. Just not for me.

I would buy this product again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I really like this pack. It's nice that the size is adjustable because usually mediums are too small and larges too big. Also like the pockets on the hip straps since my bigger 60L bag doesn't have them. Fits all my gear fine with room to spare. #sweepstakes

Perfect size basic lightweight backpack

When compared to my jade this bag is still good. It’s very comfortable and a great color. The size is perfect for anything. I wish the mesh on it was more stretchy like on the jade, though great quality it shows that this bag is a little less in cost for a reason

Not perfect

I bought the Amber 44 a month ago for an overnight backpacking. It’s great and it fit everything I needed.I like that it has adjustable back hight and I liked the chest strap, adjustable hight as well. The backpack is sturdy, the material is great and the rain cover is good, even though I would have appreciated more a cord that I can tie, instead if the elastic on the margins. Also, for securing the raincover, a longer strap would have come in handy, the one existent is too small to close when on a full backpack. Downsides I found: the hipbelt pockets are a but small and they don’t fit well my phone (iPhone SE, not even big); also they are a bit hard to access, positioned more towards the back. The hipbelt itself, no matter the position, hurt my hips, because the padded area is too short and the plastic elements don’t sit on any padding, but on your iliac crest and I ended up with bruises. Another downside is that if the backpack is not full, the top part saggs. And the last one: when full, the backpack is squeaking, i believe the frame and the upper cap junction..

Great First Pack

I am just getting into backpacking and have been looking for a pack that would still function as a daypack yet could be used for an overnight hike. I really enjoy the fit and the organization this pack provides.

All around great pack!

A very comfortable pack and it's sturdy and really nice-looking. My only concern is that the drawstring is quite difficult to open and close. Not sure why it was designed that way.

I haven’t used it yet but love that it came with a rain cover. Will be using it soon for hikes next month. Very spacious and love all the compartments.
