Love this jacket but we know it comes from the great Ventrix

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really love this jacket can't say enough I would prefer it to be in extra small, but it doesn't come in that size although the jacket is excellent. Wish they made it in a version that wasn't a helmet-tension, hood, and design just for your head. But I knew that going in and it does fit fine a baseball cap makes it fit even better. I use it for hiking. I use it to go everywhere do anything and I use it for work works in the freezer with layering works great in the cooler at 41° with minimal layering. Super light sweatshirt lifting boxes moving around fast totally does the job outside in the thick of it excellent and look really nice

Versatility Defined

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've worn this full zip hoodie about ten days now. Cross country skiing as an outer in a variety of temperatures with either a long or short sleeved t-shirt underneath. It breathes incredibly well yet blocks the wind better than my Patagonia Nano air hoodie. It is surprisingly warm for such a lightweight jacket. It has a nice bit of stretch allowing for a full range of movement. If I started to get a chill I just put up the toasty hood. I've also used it lift service tele skiing underneath my futurelight shell where it serves well as an insulating layer without feeling bulky or restrictive. I was glad that he hood fit easily over my XL helmet. I'm a fan of this piece for sure!

Great for high-output exercise.

This is the perfect insulation jacket for high-output exercise. Only core parts get insulation parts leaving other parts for breathability (helping moist out). It's pretty similar to the black diamond first light hybrid. I also compared this with arcteryx atom lt. It's of a similar build. However, atom lt has some thin fleece around areas not wrapped with insulation, making it more all-around in daily use. However, NTF's jacket is much better if you use it as an insulation jacket for hiking or running.

Great jacket, poor zipper quality

I have 4 of these jackets. After the weak zipper failed on my first jacket , I take my new Ventrix jackets to my tailor and have her install a heavy duty YKK nylon zipper before my first use of my Ventrix jackets, Never had a problem since. I love these jackets! They are a perfect mid layer when skiing, hunting or fishing. The are a perfect lightweight outer layer to wear in our freezing San Francisco summers!

Good design ruined by flimsy zipper

The overall design and material are excellent. The fabric is stretchy and very comfortable. My only issue is that the zipper on mine sticks at the bottom. For a jacket at this price point is very flimsy and I fear it won't hold up. I get the need to keep it light but the zipper on a jacket like this is critical. For me this is a deal breaker and I'll reluctantly be returning it.

Warm, soft, and all of the above

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] By far one of my favorite jackets to wear. My biggest complaint about men's clothing has always been the scratchy and rough material while women get to have soft fabric. Well north face delivered. It feel light soft and it's warm! Currently living in Minnesota and it's been used in 9°F days with wind and mix this with a small base layer...you're set.

I would recommend this hoodie to anyone.

I use this as a layer to go under my jacket for additional warmth. The hoodie feels warm and soft to the touch. There are 2 pockets on the outside which are nice to have. This jacket does not come with an inside pocket which is disappointing. The jacket feels a little snug to me compared to any other north face jacket or fleece.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought for my son. He already had one, the zipper broke and I sent the one with the broken zipper to u because it was under warranty. I haven't heard if it can be fixed or what is going on. When I ordered the new one you got it to me in time for Christmas. Amazing. Thank you. Your customer service is awesome.
