The jacket is nice, looks good, and the price is great. Jacket will be used for skiing and general use. Insulation is thin but don't know how warm it is yet; I prefer light insulation and layering. It would be nice to have an inside zippered pocket or another small external pocket to store small items that you don't need to access on the slopes and don't want to fall out when you get things from the larger pockets. It does not have a thumb hole/wrist gusset which I like to keep the sleeve in place and snow out; this is the biggest downside for me (Note: the newer version has this). I like the color and design, which is why I bought this over the newer version. Bright colors and unique patterns make it easier for friends and family to find you on the slopes. I've discovered from ski instructing that unless someone is wearing something distinctive, that it's hard to find them since many people dress similarly.
Well made. Fit is great. Not super thick even though it is insulated which I like. The colour-the orange is not too bright. It is more of a burnt orange which was a pleasant surprise.
