Definitely the most responsive downhill boot I’ve used. Particularly when carving, the snug fit in the shin/calf is super responsive. It’s refreshing to ski a stiff 130 - they nailed the flex. Love the cam power strap instead of Velcro. My advice: even if you don’t think you have low volume or narrow feet, you should really try on the LV version next to the MV. I have wide feet (105 mm) and my BC boot is a Scott Cosmos (103.5 mm last) - surprisingly, the Cosmos is much more snug in the foot. The Mach1 is quite generous in terms of “foot volume”, which was a surprise to me as a 100mm boot is the narrowest I’ve ever worn (at a 27.5). Almost wish I went LV but the instep would’ve been a bit too snug. Either way, it’s a well-made and well-skiing boot if it fits your foot! I am enjoying my new pair.
