Features

  • Features the highest level of Smith anti-fog treatment and integrates with Smith helmets for airflow that keeps them fog-free through all winter conditions
  • ChromaPop Pro Photochromic lens boasts a light transmission range from Category 1 (56% VLT) to Category 3 (16% VLT) for a clear view in stormy conditions and on bluebird days
  • Spherical lenses are built on a base curve in both the X (horizontal) and Y (vertical) axis
  • Smith spherical lenses are offered exclusively in Carbonic-x material with TLT Optics and a base 6 x 4 toric shape
  • This pioneering shape provides the highest level of optical clarity, improved fit characteristics and better fog performance via increased volume
  • Carbonic-x outer lens material is individually molded to offer optimum scratch and impact resistance, increased visual acuity and enhanced contrast sensitivity
  • Carbonic-x material meets Class 1 optical standards
  • Quickly adapt for any condition—Smith MAG lens change system uses magnets for quick, easy lens changes
  • Strong and weatherproof N52 magnets automatically guide the lens into an anchored position; the magnetic function speeds up lens changes to get you back out riding faster
  • With 2 locking mechanisms, the lens stays locked tight for whatever the hill throws at you; a simple push of one lever at either side of the lens releases it for easy swapping
  • Durable hydrophobic lens coating repels moisture, grease and grime; water beads up and disperses without streaking, and smudges from fingerprints are wiped clean easily
  • Tapered lens technology straightens out the incoming light rays by progressively tapering the lens from the optical center toward the peripheral view for improved accuracy
  • 5X antifog inner lens for advanced fog-free performance
  • QuickFit strap adjustment system lets you find the right fit fast
  • 3-layer DriWix face foam wicks moisture for a fog-free fit
  • Responsive Fit frame acts like a suspension system, adjusting and flexing to the contours of your face for a precise, comfortable fit
  • Ultrawide, silicone-backed strap stays put
  • Includes 2 lenses with bright-light and low-light ChromaPop performance tints; high-value bonus ChromaPop lens included at no extra cost
  • Storm lenses are tuned to bring the most out of an environment when a storm moves; they optimize contrast, making them great for pow days or night skiing under the lights
  • Pair with a Smith helmet (not included) to eliminate gaper gap and allow precise alignment between the helmet AirEvac and the goggles' venting system
  • This pairing vents warm, moist air away from the goggles, through the helmet climate control system and ultimately away from the head
  • Includes Smith lens protector and a microfiber goggles bag with replacement lens sleeve
  • Included lens protector doubles as a cleaning cloth; more convenient than the traditional goggles bag, it can be used with your goggles still on your helmet
  • Visual Light Transmission (VLT) is the rating on Smith lenses that shows how much light passes through them; the higher the VLT rating, the more light comes through that lens
  • Lower VLT rated lenses are good for bright, sunny days, whereas higher rated lenses are best in cloudy or low-light situations

Quality is not what it used to be.

One of the lenses has a minor defect. Not the end of the world but unexpected considering the price. Had the same lense on my old goggles and they were perfect. Put in a request with regards to what could possibly be done to rectify this problem but no response. Sadly Smith is not the same company it used to be.

I/O Mag photochromatic gold

Overall very pleased Fit of lens to frame is good but not excellent. I have another pair of I/O mag goggles from 3 years ago and lens are not interchangeable which is disappointing. The low light lens sent with new gogfle is excellent. The photochromatic lens does not get dark enough on bright sunny days

Exactly what I need

As a snow sport professional, I am on the mountain over 130 days each season. I need gear which I can rely on every day, in all conditions. Smith goggles and helmets fulfill that need. No compromise, just solid performance. I recommend Smith products to all of my friends, guests, and clients.

Foggy lenses

I was so excited about these goggles. They had great reviews, looked good, and the mag feature was great. . . But they fog up so easily! My cheaper Smith squad goggles are way better in that regard. Very surprising, very disappointed

Fogged

Overall great fit and love the mag feature to swap in and out, but these fogged so quickly. And not like on the inside from breathing, the fogged between the layers of lens so incredibly hard to fix while on the mountain.

Really bad quality - not worth the price

Strap broke second time I used them. The warranty process is the most difficult thing ever. They’ve asked me for the same information more than once. It’s been 9 days and no resolution. Never again!!!

absolute banger

Very nice fit with Smith helmets, the blue everyday lense is surprisingly versatile and the Blue low light is very bright even in night skiing. I'm very impressed by Smith goggles as usual

I/O MAG Review

My second pair. Work great in all the conditions experienced so far. Second lens is a bonus. No fogging on warmer days. All day comfort and fit flawlessly with the Vantage MIPS helmet.
