Newer not always better
Pros: more comfortable ankle strap. Cons: busted on day 4. Are softer overall (which could be a pro depending on you). I have owned 4 pairs of Falcors over 6 seasons now, and the latest 2025 redesign is the only one I have ever had a problem with. After only 4 days of riding, the piece that holds the toe strap to the binding opposite the ratchet broke. Upon further inspection, it is clear that this piece is much smaller and weaker than previous models. I looked into replacement parts, but ultimately decided that this was very likely to keep happening and returned them. The new ankle strap is amazing. This new model is more flexible overall, but still very stiff front to back.
