Warm and Dry

As a Louisiana native you can bet I have a low tolerance for the cold, so I did plenty of research on gloves for our Mardi Gras Tahoe ski trip. The Black Diamond gloves did not disappoint! We skied 5 days in some heavy snowy conditions and I fell a LOT as a novice skier but my hands were always dry and warm. Of course, I managed to drop one glove off the lift over a double black diamond run 🤦‍♀️. Thankfully, the next day I made a lift buddy who was an expert local skier. He went down and found it for me! I was so happy!

Great gloves but fixed liner too heavy

These are actually a little too warm for me - they'd be perfect if I could swap out for a lighter lining. They fit my hands well - maybe a touch tighter than my preference. As it is, my test (a stroll around the neighborhood @ 20 degrees & windy) left my hands moist - not sweaty or wet, but just a touch too much for the conditions. Either better wicking or a thinner lining would dial these in for me, but I'll still be looking for my perfect gloves. Regret I did not go with a different glove so I could adjust the liner.

my 4th pair

I like these gloves because they are nice and roomy in the fingers. I have short stubby fingers and cannot wear most women's gloves as the fingers are too tight. I replace the gloves every two or three years when they start to get a bit baffed out. I keep the old ones for situations where I don't need such warm gloves. They stay warm even when wet.

Great gloves

Was looking for a good all-round pair of gloves for mountaineering and ski touring. These have performed well so far on the couple of non-technical climbs I've taken them on and kept my hands warm and dry down to about 15F while active. Generally useful features and good dexterity, definitely happy with my purchase.

Outstanding Gloves!

I picked these up for my wife and I as my previous gloves were in sad shape from ice climbing and her hands are always cold. Both of us are beyond pleased with these. Not only does the shell protect from the windchill and wetness, but the insides are cushy soft and downright cozy. Love the gloves!

Loving the glove

Very warm, very comfortable and a great fit. With years of spending time outdoors and now getting older, I’m experiencing some sensitivity to cold in my fingertips …these gloves are the best I’ve worn in helping to deal with this!

Quality warmer weather glove.

I ski patrol in these gloves and they are my favorite. I also own the mitten version as well when it gets a bit colder. These gloves are good quality construction and extremely comfortable.

Excellent High Peak gloves

Love these gloves for my winter snowshoe climbs in the Adirondacks- and they keep my hands dry when we glissade down the peak we just climbed! Love ‘em so much, I have two pairs!

Not as warm as expected

These are comfortable and have good flexibility to the fingers. They were not warm enough for a walk with temperatures in the 20s and windchill in the teens.

Excellent for cold-weather action sports!

I love these gloves! They are perfect for snowshoeing in the frigid High Peaks of the Adirondacks: warm, stay dry, and move perspiration very well.
