Kari Traa has gone downhill

What a shame. Kari Traa base layers used to be my favorite for backpacking, but the quality of the last two base layers I bought (and returned) has gone downhill. The material used to be cozy thick soft and warm. Not anymore. They are now thin and even see-through which completely defeats the purpose of effective outdoor gear. You might as well be buying an H&M sweater but priced exorbitantly. Please bring back the old Kari Traa. I‘ll be going back to Smartwool.

Nice style, soft wool

I’ve worn Smartwool tops in past seasons, but now prefer Kari Traa. The styling and quality are better: Longer length of torso covers well, softer wool; smarter styling. The Smartwool tops ran a bit short by comparison. I’ve gotten compliments on the beige/crème top and wear it just under a jacket.
