Features

  • Asym Hadron reclining nylon highbacks create a fast, automatic entry system and fully fold down, creating a large opening to conveniently drop in your boots
  • With triggered highbacks and Drop-In Technology, just push your foot in through the back and step down on the heel pedal to automatically engage the binding
  • A simple release lever makes exiting just as rapid
  • The highbacks also feature responsive flex and an integrated forward lean adjuster for full customization
  • Hybrid Exoframe ankle straps—suspended underneath the Hybrid Spine—feature an injected frame with Auxetic pattern for great form-fitting support and superior comfort
  • Hexo Toecap straps feature AuxTech, a 3D-hinged Auxetic pattern for next-level connected comfort
  • Locking Slap Racket (LSR) buckles let you set it and forget it in Automatic mode, locking down to secure your preferred footstrap tightness
  • If the slope or snow conditions demand it, you can also use the LSR buckles to strap in just like with a regular 2-strap binding
  • Asym Rockered Matic-Serics baseplates use the same tried-and-tested shape and nylon/glass mix as the Nidecker Axis baseplates but with additional Drop-In Technology components
  • Slip-N-Grip plates help your toes glide in over the pad to make entry even easier; likewise, a roller in the heel cup adds buttery smooth operation to the highback trigger
  • Baseplate multi-discs work with all snowboards on the market
  • Mid-stiff and designed to deliver the comfort and reliability of regular 2-strap bindings

These bindings will ruin your boots! Do not buy!

Do not buy. These bindings will ruin your boots. I have been to my local resort five times for a few short days with these bindings and the heel of my boots are coming apart. Every time I ride it gets progressively worse. My K2 Maysis boots have been fine for two seasons in my old bindings, and now they are rapidly falling apart. If you observe the mechanism in the rear of the binding you will see the.impact that occurs on the heel of your boot. This is simply a non-starter. I don’t get how this was not discovered in testing this binding? There is an ease to stepping in, but I don’t find the bindings particularly stiff. (I did not get the carbon ones.) I noticed this more the first couple of days, and now after five days I feel that I am turning quickly again and in tune with my board. Probably was the first change of old bindings to these and getting used to them. I have tried to contact customer service and have gotten nothing so far. So, now what do I do as a customer? Buy new boots? No, they would likely get wrecked. I will need to buy new bindings and ditch these old ones.
