More robust, more expensive, more hassle.

In typical MSR fashion, this is a well-made, solid-functioning piece of gear. It is much sturdier than my JetBoil, which has become loose. But, the Jetboil allows stowage in the cup without removing the fuel canister and the piezo lighter is very handy. I do not like removing the fuel canister each time I stow the stove in its cup. A small, but significant, amount of gas is expelled/wasted each time and the time to set up and take down is irritating and inconvenient. On the plus side, the wind resistance and heat-up time is very good.

Incredible backpacking stove. Light weight, efficient, easy to set up even in cold, rain and sleet. Big fan of Cascade brands.

Super easy, compact, and fast boiler

Love my new stove! Just had to buy a larger pan to cook with but the one that came with it is great for boiling water.
