TALL: tall sizes are 3 inches longer in inseam, 2 inches longer in body length, 2.5 inches longer in sleeve length and 1.25 inches longer in total rise.

Roomy and breathable with soft interior
I tested out this new top on a few long hikes in chilly weather (temps in the low/mid 50s). In order to test the breathability I only wore a very thin wicking short sleeve shirt underneath. I like how this top cut out most of the wind, and the feel of the soft micro-grid fleece on the inside kept me warm without overheating. I was able to dump heat with the generous zipper, and I basically kept it on the entire hike. I love a top with thumb holes, and this has the added bonus of folding over into mittens. I included photos for reference. It was very roomy and bigger than I’m used to, and the lower cut on the shoulders looked a bit odd on my small frame. However, I would definitely recommend this top for aerobic activities in chilly weather. Although I would not buy white again because it got dirty pretty quickly.
This pullover is now part of my regular rotation!
This is a pullover I reach for often! Whether I’m working out, running or just want a comfortable outfit at home this has become part of my regular rotation. It is a Comfortable, stylish and utilitarian thermal pull over. It has thumb holes which is always a favorite feature of mine. It also includes flip down cuffs for particularly cold runs or outings! This would be great for fall weather on its own or as a mid layer as it gets cooler. The top half of the pull over has a wind resistant fabric which is great for runs. The only reasons I marked one star off was there’s only one chest pocket and I usually prefer more. Also a word of advice - keep the white color away from any other colors in the wash!
Comfortable lightweight pullover
I ordered a size up from my normal and I am glad I did because it would definitely be more of a slim fit otherwise, which some people may prefer. But especially for running, I prefer more ability to move my arms around. This pullover is very comfortable and soft - I keep it on even after my hikes/runs. It's a very lightweight material but still provides warmth and wind protection. It has holes for your thumbs which I don't necessarily find useful, but some might. My only issue is that it stains fairly easily since it is such a bright white - I took a spill while trail running and the dirt is hard to get out of it. I have to make sure it is washed with only similar colors.
Solid mid-layer for more than just running
While this pullover is targeted towards runners, I found this to be a versatile piece. It's well constructed, reliable, but not without a few flaws. Quality -This is a well constructed pullover that I could see wearing for years to come. The fabric has a nice texture, the sizing is roomy to accommodate layers and movement, and the reflective accents are plentiful. -I tend to run hot while active, but I didn't feel sweaty and gross while wearing this. There was adequate ventilation. Added bonus for the built-in thumb holes and mitts. -Top pocket is large enough to accommodate an iPhone, so basics are covered there! Versatility -First and foremost, this pullover was made for runners in mind. It's fall in the PNW and running in the dark is a fact of life here. this pullover has reflective accents everywhere which will help with visibility. Aside from accents, the fabric color is vibrant - even the white color is prominent. -This was comfortable enough to wear around town after a run, even outside while working in the garden. -It's not winter yet, but I would definitely wear this layer ski touring or snowshoeing. It's warm where it counts, ventilates, and the absence of a hood on this layer makes it less cumbersome while dealing with multiple hoods, helmets, and winter layering. The Flaws -Zipper quality was my one quality complaint. The zipper just doesn't stick. At the slightest tug a partially zipped zipper will rip open. -More of a personal preference, but I found the built-in hand coverings to be claustrophobic and reminiscent of baby anti-scratch mittens. Don't get me wrong, I love this feature! I would prefer a little bit of room to wiggle around more.
Great versatile mid weight layer
This is a great mid-weight layer that can add a lot of warmth on top of a base layer but is not too bulky or heavy. It is the perfect shirt to grab for a fall run, hike, or backpacking trip to add some warmth but is also stylish enough to wear around town. The inside of this shirt is a cozy brushed fleece, which I love, but the outer side of the fabric is a bit more substantial, which lends some nice warmth in somewhat windy conditions. It also has a couple of features for additional warmth if needed including sleeve covers you can pull over your fingers like mittens and a small collar if you need to zip it all the way up. As someone who often gets cold, I really appreciate these little touches! The bottom of the shirt is slightly longer in the back than the front which I think looks really nice and helps make sure it does not ride up (another nice small feature to help with warmth!). I also appreciate that it has a few subtle reflective patches on it, which is nice for visibility on evening runs or bike rides if the sun begins to set! My only complaint is that the white color is a little bit see-through if you wear a darker colored shirt or sports bra under it. It’s not super noticeable, but I’ve chosen to wear light colored shirts underneath it.
Midlayer perfect for ski season
This a great mid layer that will be perfect for ski season! I was pleasantly surprised by how cozy the grid fleece was, and I'm a sucker for anything with thumb holes. The fit was just slightly awkward for me, the shoulders are a bit boxy and the thermal area on the top can feel bulky at times. The other feature that feels a bit useless are the fold over mittens. They might work in a pinch but I much prefer regular gloves. All that said, I still think I'd reach for this regularly during the winter months under a heavier jacket to hit the slopes or go sled with my kiddo. It was perfect on a chilly but sunny day playing pickleball and I think will be great into spring as well. I wouldn't normally reach for the white color but I actually really like it.
Mittens Tight, Otherwise Great!
I LOVE running jackets with built in mittens, but these are pretty tight on hands. Sized up for longer sleeves. The cuffs are nice and neatly cuffed back when not in use, so it's a tradeoff. The material quality is fabulous, thin but seems durable. I'm not sure I will love the light undyed color in the long term, but it's such a fresh departure from my other running clothes colors, I'm enjoying it for now at least.
Soft, Warm, Great for Cold Activities!
I am really enjoying this top so far; I find myself reaching for it for all sorts of adventures. The outside washes any stains out fairly easily (and I say this even as I'm wearing the white colorway!) and wicks moisture well. I have worn this outside while running in late November in Minnesota with minimal issues with warmth and I've also worn it plenty now for even playing in a curling rink! It even has integrated mittens on the cuffs so you can pull them over for even more warmth- I love that feature. The only part that mildly bothers me is that I can't pull my sleeves up super fast due to the fact that the wrist seam is not incredibly stretchy. You can work at it to pull the sleeves up to your mid-forearm but it's not incredibly easy while running. Overall I will continue to wear this on my cold day runs and would even wear this as a layer under my coat on super cold days.
Newest Closet Staple!
I recently added the Swiftland Thermal Running Half-Zip to my closet, and it has quickly become a staple in my wardrobe. Whether out on a run, a hike, or in my day to day the pullover is the perfect layer. The fit of the Swiftland Half-Zip is exceptional. Itssnug but not restrictive and I love that in the inner fabric is soft and waffle-y while the outer fabric has a wind breaker feel that is great for the outdoors and still provides good ventilation. I’ve worn it during various temperatures, and it performs well, keeping me comfortable throughout workouts. I am a small in most garments and the small for this was true to size. I got the white and so far it has held up well despite a fair amount of use its washed up well and maintained its brightness. After several washes, the pullover has held up remarkably well. There’s no pilling or fading, and the fabric still looks and feels as good as new. It's an excellent addition for any runner/hiker looking for a reliable, stylish, and comfortable top. Whether you’re hitting the trails or just running errands, this pullover checks all the boxes. Highly recommended for both casual and serious runners alike!
Warm Arms!
I wasn’t looking for a new running jacket, but the beautiful blue color caught my attention. I tried it on and was amazed at how warm the shirt was throughout - even the arms! And thumb holes with a fold over for my fingers? Sold. I’ve worn it on a windy walk (40*, dusk) and it did its job. Fingers are a little scrunched under the material, so it’s more of a “cover while you warm up” feature than “wear instead of gloves”. Really excited to have this in the rotation.
