Smartwool  Hike Full Cushion Crew Socks - Kids'

Great quality and price. My kid is in an outdoor preschool and these will be perfect for the colder months. Also super soft and not a scratchy wool which we both love!

These seem warm. . . but they shrank SO much that my average sized 13 month old barely fits into these socks. They leave indents on his ankles/legs. . . and he is not chubby. They just shrink so much and seem to be not designed for toddlers. The sizing is also ""3 months to 3 years"" but there is NO way any 3 year old could fit into these. They are most suitable to a 3 month old. Also, why do thEse not have grips? Again, my toddler is slipping and falling when I take his winter boots off inside. Not worth the money.

What happened to your kids medium weight socks? I have a small foot so I buy kids size socks. Have worn Smartwool Kids socks while backpacking for years. Went to buy another pair and they are now thin…probably half the thickness of my old ones. These cannot be worn to do any kind of hiking, let alone long distance. Extremely disappointed. The word ""hike"" needs to be removed from the description.

Medium cushion is too thin for comfort. . . within 1 mile of walking the socks have turned on the foot and need to be straightened. Need thick cushion for comfort walking 10 miles a day. . . . . thin to medium cushion is NOT enough to wick water off the feet. . . The old thick cushion socks you used to make were perfect. . . What happened to them. . ???

I was disappointed with how thin the socks are. They are nicely padded on the soles, but the socks themselves are very thin, especially one pair. They all looked like they should be the same when I ordered them, but one is like a summer weight, and the others are much thinner than socks I've ordered in the past. Very disappointing.

Our whole family wears Smartwool - with how active my boys are at school and in sports, they need the breathability of wool to keep the stink down. Unfortunately, these socks aren't quite compliant for their school uniform. I wish we could get them in solid colors like navy, black, or white. I'd buy 10 pairs every year. . .

My experience is that all toddler socks are too small. These are great for my 2. 5y/o. They'd be perfect if they had grippy bottoms. He often has to take them off in the house because they're so slippery. But the fit is great and I love how thick they are. Also I always wash on cold setting and hang to dry.

Kid approved! My kids are so picky so I was worried about spending so much on a pair of socks for them but they love how they feel. Had to make them take them off so I could wash them. We've had a brutal winter and these keep their toes warm for hours outside. So happy I purchased

They fit nicely as I wear a size 6 show but a very narrow foot. But they weren't as heavy as the women's socks and couldn't keep my feet warm, so I returned them for a size small womens taupe sock. If you come with a thicker size Large Kids sock, I would order it.

We bought these to replace a set of kids light hike that has been discontinued. I was hesitant to make a change as my son really liked the previous socks. He has stated that these are even better than the ones he had before. I am a happy mom.
