Cute and comfortable
Comfortable and cute! The tongue did poke into the front of my ankle, but I just rolled it back a few times and it doesn’t bother me anymore. Other than that these cute shoes did NOT need breaking in and I get lots of compliments! (I also have neuropathy, and a big arthritic joint and I can still wear them all day!) These are not your marshmallow lightweight running shoes, but comfortable and sturdy for wearing in rain and out.

Cushioned 20k steps/day
These shoes are super cute & trendy! I spent 10 days walking roughly 20,000 steps per day in Europe with these - including a 6 mile hike & climbing multiple historic towers. My feet were never uncomfortable, I felt the shoes were breathable and sturdy/stable. There was less rain than anticipated but when it rained or there were puddles, my feet and shoes stayed totally dry. My only complaint is they did scuff/dirty and though they’re easily cleanable, the suede detail has remained grey after antibacterial wipes. I will try a more aggressive cleaning method though. As always, I size up by 0.5 because all my Soren’s run small.
Look and feel great!
These shoes were comfortable on day one. I purchased them last minute for a trip and wore them sightseeing on multiple days without a problem and they kept my feet dry on rainy days.The sole is thick but has flex so is comfortable. I added a supportive insole as the one it comes with is not. The silver color is subtle and fashionable so they’re super cute. I’ll definitely buy them in another color!

fix the painful stiff tongue!
These shoes are super cute and I love the waterproof part but the tongue is long, hard, stiff, and digs into the front of my ankle and it is seriously painful. I tried them on and walked about 30 feet in my house and it hurt so bad I had to take them off. The tongue is stiff and hard and I would not be able to wear these even for 5 minutes. I took them off about 10 minutes ago and my ankles still hurt. I looked at my other sneakers and none of them have a hard stiff tongue like this shoe. If they fix the tongue I will buy them again and give them a 5 star. I got a 6.5 as I usually have to size up in Sorel and the fit was good- usually wear a 6 and have wide feet.
Comfy and wears well
Absolute fan! Ordered prior to travel to Australia and New Zealand as my go-to shoes for the trip! They were perfect! Comfortable for walking tours, and perfect for less than ideal weather or ground conditions. No issues with breaking them in, and I enjoyed the confidence of the waterproofing. Ribbed soles are challenging to clean, but it can be done! Mine still look great after eight months, and I added elastic no-tie laces. Now, they are perfect! First pair is silver, and I’m back for black.

I bought these sneakers for a trip to Japan during rainy season but little did I know they’d turn into my fav sneakers. They are now my go to sneaks everyday! I was worried that because they were waterproof they’d be too hot but my feet have never gotten hot. You do need to put inserts in them as they have no arch support but I just put my normal inserts in and they were good to go! I sized up a half size.
OUCH!!!!
These shoes are very cute. I was so excited to wear them on my upcoming European trip. I had read that the tongue is stiff but also saw that others had success with softening it up. I did not. While breaking them, despite all attempts to bend/soften the tongue, I got terrible lace bite. At 50, this is my first experience ever with it - and if you haven’t had it, let me tell you, it’s terrible. My ankle was seriously swollen. Now, six days later, I still have pain there and can’t even wear my go to running shoes. It’s very frustrating as I’m out the money and still in search of another shoe to do what I needed these to do. I feel robbed. I’ve had success with Sorel in the past but these are a BIG NO.

Unable to keep due to very stiff tongue
I bought these for my Europe trip and they unfortunately are not keepers. Right out of the box the tongue is so stiff and digs in the front of my ankle. I wish the tongue was a soft thin suede or other thinner, softer material because this is the one reason I won’t be able to enjoy these shoes. They are true to size.
