Bait and switch
This is a bait and switch on REI's part. The wheel I received had a TK535 rim laced into it instead of the more expensive/premium TK540 that is advertised. I have not decided whether or not I will keep it. I need a new rear wheel, and the TK535 may be acceptable, but I would be paying more than I expected for it. This is the first time that I can remember this happening on an order from REI, after more than four decades of ordering there; it is behavior that I expect from Amazon, not REI.
