Features

  • Fits any 76 BCD crankset or spider
  • Replaces the more expensive rings used on SRAM XX1 spiders or other manufacturers' spiders, such as Cannondale; also a great fit on the Specialized Stout crankset
  • Drop-Stop® technology is a patented wide/narrow chainring design from Wolf Tooth Components
  • The wide side of the tooth offers maximum contact on the drive side, which spreads the load and improves chainring life
  • Alternating wide/narrow tooth pattern prevents chain derailment
  • Drop-Stop A Chainrings are compatible with: All 9/10/11-speed chains, 12-speed SRAM Eagle, 12-speed Connex, 12-speed Wippermann
  • Not compatible with 12-speed SRAM Transmission (T-Type) and Road Flattop, 12-speed Shimano HG+, 12-speed KMC, 12-speed Campagnolo, or 13-speed Campagnolo chains
  • Threaded for standard M8 chainring bolts (not included)
  • For the XX1 spider, Wolf Tooth recommends 6 mm bolts (or any short M8 chainring bolt)
  • For the Stout crankset, Wolf Tooth recommends 10 mm bolts or the bolts that come with the crankset
  • If using a 9-speed drivetrain use a 10-speed chain—it will fit tighter for better chain retention
  • If you plan to ride in very muddy conditions, Wolf Tooth Components recommends a chain guide or chain keeper in addition to a clutch-type rear derailleur
  • Without these precautions, you may experience chain drops or chain suck
