Smartwool  Performance Hike Targeted Cushion Ankle Socks - Women's

I like these socks more than I expected. I have a fair number of hiking socks in different weights. I was looking for a lightweight sock for hiking shoes without a high ankle. These socks not only improved the comfort of my shoes by taking up less space, but also prevented blisters compared to my existing socks. They are snug without being too tight; do not leave deep grooves around your ankles after a full day of hiking. The height is perfect, preventing rubbing from the shoe. I purchased additional pairs after hiking in them throughout Moab.

They were a Hiking game changer. My feet were so much more comfortable in my hiking boots then with the socks I was wearing. I couldn’t believe that they made such a difference! Buy them!

This is my 2nd pair of short, wool hiking socks. I have several pairs of crew length but for the summer I appreciate a shorter pair. The foot bed has just enough cushion to keep my feet comfortable while hiking and I always appreciate the wool.

I have slowly moved towards just wearing smartwool socks all the time and these thinner ones are great for hot AZ summers.
