Not in love
Box arrived damaged and the tan pair arrived with several scuffs on them, appearing to have been worn. The boots themselves are pretty cute. I like last year’s version much more though. Ordered half a size up because last year’s were a little snug in my normal size. These are almost too big, they fit weird and are heavier. The black and chalk ones - the rubber lower portion is a tan yellow, NOT off white like the photos make them appear. Likely returning.
Poor quality control
These boots are super cute but the quality is crap. The rubber toe has 3 cracks & the sole is separating from the boot. They are worn maybe 1/2 the year and not daily. Sorel won’t offer any discount on a replacement. So if you are cool with spending $$$ on boots that’s will be garbage in 6 months, go for it!
Love Sorel
Always love the quality and comfort of Sorel boots. These do run a little tight/short in the toe box. Would recommend 1/2 size up.
Low quality
Quality of item not what I would expected for price
Amazing with a capital A!
They keep my feet: so dry, so warm, so comfortable! The traction is amazing, so good that one time my shoe stopped, but I kept moving forward and bumped my head on the door. I don’t know what people are talking about saying they’re not comfortable, because mineare super comfortable. Maybe it’s the size and width of your foot… I have a narrow foot and I always wear thick socks to fill the shoe (I am a 6 1/2 to 7 normally but bought these on sale in a 7.5). And since it really only rains where I am in CA in the winter when it’s often cold, a thick sock is preferred anyways. I’ll recommend and buy these again and again.
Loved but they didn’t last a year
I loved these boots initially. I bought them in the fall of October 2023 and I live in Michigan. This year when I took them out of winter storage I noticed that the toe is separating and water now can seep in. I’m disappointed because they are barely out of warranty and I only wore them for roughly 6 months out of the year. Not sure if I received a lemon but it’s making me think twice about purchasing Sorel boots
Cute and Comfy, But expensive for quality.
Boots are cute and comfortable right out of the box. The small suede piece on the tongue where the laces thread through it ripped on one shoe after less than a week of wear though, and for the price I expected better materials.
Poor fitting
Boot is made too small. With thick socks on it aused my feet to become numb. The tongue is too narrow & couldn't be waterproof since my foot was showing. Measured my feet beforehand & used the size chart.
Great until they weren’t
These boots started off great for the times I needed them after purchasing in late November 2023. After only wearing maybe 10-12 times I noticed a cold/wet feeling where the toe are meets the rubber around the shoe. I called Sorel and was told because it is out of the 1 year warranty nothing can be done. I explained based on the weather and usage, they have only been worn a few times and I should not be feeling the wet/coldness. Sorel will not stand by their product unless purchased within the year, even if only worn a few times. There is no visible damage that would cause the cold/wet to come through. Beware as these are not inexpensive boots.
Wanted to love them
I wanted to love these boots. They are cute and stylish, but I just could not get over how awkward they felt the second I tried to walk in them. I’m not sure if the pair I got is just defective, but with every single step, the outside of the sole would hit first and then my foot would roll inward. Upon inspection, it looks like the sole is slanted outward from the upper where your foot would be. The left isn’t as noticeable, but there is no way I could walk more than a few steps in these.
