Great approach shoes
I am in between an 8 and 8.5 and had to get the 8.5 in order to wear these with socks without my big toe touching the front. The toe box actually doesn’t feel as wide as my Vivo trail runners, and the soles are quite stiff for barefoot shoes. Nevertheless, these are still great approach shoes and mountain biking shoes. I will also wear them out to run errands. If you’re looking for a bare barefoot shoe though, I don’t think these are it but would make a good intro to the barefoot life.
Not foot shaped/wide toe box, and very short!
NARROW and SHORT. I ordered a half size up from what the size chart indicated - my foot is 10.5/10.6 inches, but I sized up to a 10.5 which was supposedly for a 10.8" long foot. The end of my big toe is at the front of the shoe with the nail being pinched by the shoe toe. I tried on with medium cushion socks at noon, so not with afternoon swelling, and it is not remotely the right size despite sizing up from the chart. the toe box on this shoe is narrow and the shoe's profile is straight heel to toe; my pinky toe metatarsal was hanging off the side of the sole on both shoes and it was tight with the laces untied and loosened as much as possible. This shoe is not "foot shaped" and does NOT have a wide toe box. The men's Xero I ordered was foot shaped but also too short, so I'm going to say you need to size up at least a full size for your Xero shoes to not fit like a sock.
Excellent long distance walking shoe.
Comfortable as a slipper. Happy toes in wide toe box. Sole handles rocks with ease. I own several other models of Xero shoes.
Great all purpose shoe!!
On road or off, these shoes do it all! Super comfortable, wide toe box, grip for days whether it be turf or concrete or wooded trails. Zero fatigue from being on my feet all, good bye back problems!
pronators beware
these make my pronation worse! not good support or structure in the instep. it's a shame, the shoes look nice!
