Baggy, but great quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually I buy large jackets, and it's a little baggy which I like, but this one felt like it was an Extra Large. The length, shoulder length, and arm length were perfect, but the middle was super loose. I love the quality and the pockets, but I definitely need to return it for a medium. Unfortunately the medium blacks ran out so I'll have to buy the green, but it's a solid jacket and it kept me warm when it was 26 F (New York) when I tested it out. (For reference I'm 6'3, 195 lbs)
Sturdy; Useful; Quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At this price point idk what else you could ask for. It's a quality build, has a good zipper (important!), and the reflective Omni-material was new to me. At first I thought it wasn't really that warm of a jacket, but I discovered that the more you move in it, the more heat you generate which the material reflects and traps (it doesn't have to be a lot; I was basically walking my dogs but staying very still). It definitely is waterproof, though the wind idk how much any one jacket can really do about that. I'm very pleased with the purchase
Landroamer II - Warm, lightweight, looks great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really nice parka. Very warm. The size guide told me to order a large (I'm 5'10" and about 180 lbs), but every I've had other Columbia jackets and medium has always been the right fit, so I went with that -- it was the right decision. I'd be swimming in a large. I gave it a 4 rating only because something about the weight of the hood (maybe) means that cold air can get in around the back of my neck unless it's completely zipped up to the top (I haven't tried wearing it without the hood yet) and you have to stop mid-way when zipping up to realign the two sides. Overall, I'm really happy with it -- it gives me a great option on the coldest of days up here in Western NY.
I bought this parka mostly because it was advertised as being very warm. I have used this coat for my daily walk outdoors in temperatures in the mid 20 degree F range with 15 to 20 mph winds. It does not keep me comfortably warm in those conditions! I'm not freezing cold but I'm not comfortable either. The main reason that the parka does not keep me warm is that the hood & tunnel collar are too open. No matter how tight I adjust the hood strings it gets tighter around the top of my head but leaves my face & neck open to the wind. Even zipped all the way up the collar is just too big around. I think style was more of a consideration when this coat was designed than function!
Thank you so much for taking the time to provide your feedback! We will make sure this is passed along to the appropriate teams regarding opportunities for improvement on this product. Thank you for choosing Columbia!
Men's Landroamer II Parka review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered the parka during the black Friday and have been enjoying it since then. I can wear a t-shirt, this parka, and then go outside in a 30-40f NYC weather for a walk with no problem
5 stars
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jacket is amazing extremely warm. The technology is perfect for the snow.
Men's Landroamer II Parka - Dark Green
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This parka does run a little bit large. I'm 5'11", 170 lbs, and Medium fits perfectly. I love the solid green colorway of this jacket, too. The jacket is lightweight, but has nice thickness and is really good at protection from the wind and cold. The detachable hood is also insulated which is a nice change from older Columbia coats. Plenty of exterior pockets, too. Only nit-pick is the high collar feels a little stiff, and no soft lining against your neck and lower face. Still, highly recommend this jacket especially if you find it on sale.
Solid warm parka
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a solid parka—warm, rainproof, and built to handle unpredictable weather. I especially appreciate the number of exterior pockets, which are super handy for keeping essentials within reach. However, I was a bit disappointed to find there are no interior pockets. It’s a small thing, but I like having a secure inside space for a phone or wallet. Still, if exterior storage and weather protection are your main concerns, this parka does the job really well.
Excellent Parka!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this parka back in the summer of 2024, it is now December. This is without a doubt the warmest coat i have ever owned. I am 63 and I've tried quite a few. Love the big pockets as I do outdoor photography and I can fit alot of items in them. The only thing I would have added to this awesome coat is a fur lined hood to help block wind and blowing snow off your face.
Right Choice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband had been having a difficult time finding a new parka to replace his old favorite . This one fits the bill . The length is perfect . He walks our dog on very cold days and is quite pleased with how warm this coat is . Plenty of room for layering . He likes the detachable hood as well . Only complaint is the quality of the zipper and how long it will last .
