Mens Selun FL
Mens medium 6'2" 150lb fits perfect. I've never been burnt, but feel like I've gotten some color over the summer. I've used this on +10 hour days. It can be hot bc it's a sun hoody but it's reasonably breathable. Drys real quick. Fits over or under helmets with ease, thumb loops are a nice touch. The best feature is that their is a bit of a neck/face guard which adds additional coverage.

Solid Hoodie for Spring/Fall
This is a great sun hoodie that is more substantial than most. It gets full neck coverage and has material you can even pull up over part of your face. The sleeves also have thumb loops to keep them in place and warmer. The material is too thick for a hot weather sun hoodie. At the very least, you'd need to go with a lighter color. The dark blue on a sunny day absorbed too much heat. I think this would be ideal for Spring and Fall weather. I use something lighter from May through August in the NY area. Quality material and well-cut. I am happy with size Large and am 5'10" 17lbs.

great design but fabric causes horrible skin rash
The fabric used in this hoodie is meant to kill bacteria and keep smells at bay. It is a biocide and unfortunately does not distinguish between bacteria and skin. After wearing this my skin becomes extremely itchy and red, within a few days it is flaky and dry. I have tried washing it with different detergents several times in a row, but still the fabric has the effect. 0/10, would not recommend.
Great everyday sun hoody choice
Perfect item for everyday use in the mountains. I live in Colorado where were always battling the sun, and this piece fits the bill great. I love the mint color, but the functionality is where it shines: built in balaclava is a nice touch, Hood is the perfect proportion, length is just right to stay under a harness, etc, and thumb loops round it off. The fit is definitely slim! Size up if you need a little room to move. It's a tad heavier weight than the Patagonia Sun Hoody, which I like.

Great addition to the crag bag
About the right weight of fabric to keep you warm, but not to warm on a cool evening at the crag. Good Freedom of movement and functionality. Already thinking of buying another. Others have mentioned using this as a base layer...I can't say I'd be using it for this. The fabric isn't very breathable and can leave you pretty clammy/stuffy feeling. For me, it's more of an on/off layer for the cool evenings, shade, or wind.

You'll never want to use a different base layer
I brought this and two other base layer tops on a 7-day spring ski traverse. I ended up using only the MAMMUT Selun FL Hoody because it performed so well in sunny conditions. The hood and neck guard allow you to hide from UV rays and stay cool. The green color kept my temperature in check much better than my other black base layers which would have gotten way too hot.

Much more than a sun hoody
This is my go-to outdoor shirt for all seasons. It's the perfect weight for a winter underlayer with an athletic fit, not loose and baggy like all the American brands. Also, it is not too heavy for shoulder seasons and summer desert heat. It is the best I have found, and I have tried them all. As always, Mammut is the perfect product for your standard outdoor kit.

Go to Sun-Shirt
This sun-shirt has an incredible number of features. It is lightweight and stays cool even while baking in alpine sun. It's hood fits well over a helmet and stays on during long days. I have 3 shirts like it and this is my go-to one for any form of climbing

Selun FL Hoody
I really like these style of hoody for summer alpine/rock guiding. Light and comfortable fabric. It's great that the fabric is recycled polyester and is bluesign built. Keeps the sun off part of my face and neck keeping my cooler and more efficient.

Excellent sun shirt
This shirt keeps me warm enough when it's cold and cool when it's warm. It can go multiple days of activity without getting stanky and can still do it's job. The hood fits really well under a hat and or helmet.
