comfortable fleece, bad stitching
Bought the fleece a month ago, wore it almost daily while in Japan for two weeks. Held up of from what I could see. Then after the first wash once home pulled it out to find all the stitching on the right cuffs for the elastic material came out and half the stitching for the the elastic material on the waist trim came out. After reading other reviews, seems like it’s a common problem with this fleece. Being an “outdoor” company I would have thought it would hold up better to use.
Love it, but coming apart so soon.
I bought this for my husband 2 months ago and he loves it / wears it often, but it's already coming-apart at the seams. Both the cuffs and hem at the waist are literally coming apart from the edge binding - obviously not the end of the world, but will take some repair to keep it from falling apart so soon. Kind of surprising.
Feature rich, priced right lightweight fleece
I love this fleece. Nice and lightweight for layering, cool blocking on the shoulders, and there is a chest pocket. I went for the beetle color, but looks like there are some fun options if you want to stand out a bit. Fits great and the price is right. There is a sweatshirt like pocket on the front, too and I feel like a lot of fleece in this range do not have this included.
fell apart
I bought this item, and the first time I I wore it the seams on the wrists came apart, leaving holes that my thumbs could fit through. The thread continued to unravel, and I had to return this product.
Terrible Stitching
Wore once, all stitching from bottom came off after the first wash. Extremely frustrating considering it’s a $100 fleece. It’s a shame because it looks cool. Cheap material and construction.
Cheap Threads
The tail hemming started coming off almost immediately after I bought it.

***Topo Designs is sending a replacement item as they deemed this an error. Will update review after I have time to try it out. The customer service was easy to deal with and I would rate it highly.*** I had this for less than two weeks before the thread on the trim started coming apart. I really liked the look and fit, but it doesn't seem like the quality is there.
