The North Face  Aphrodite 2.0 Pants - Women's

When I received these I giggled with excitement for a lightweight, comfy and quick dry pant for travel and light trails. But what a disappointment after a month and a few washes. This fabric is pilling and snagging both inside and out. My pics are from low stress areas like behind the knees and sides. The butt area is a disaster and this isn't even from sitting on rocks. 6 weeks and they will never travel anywhere farther than a dog walk. So disappointed in North Face and I'm circling back to my trusted Kuhl.

Do not buy if you want SHEIN quality pants that pill on the first wear. The fabric is buttery soft, perfect fit, but comes out and pills before you do anything in them. I have never been so disappointed in the quality of north face or an item sold from REI.

These were my outdoor weekend pants and I loved how they fit, looked and felt. I bought three pairs and they all went from awesome to embarrassing in a disappointingly short period of time. Even though they were always washed on the delicate cycle in cold water and hung to dry, the fabric pilled very badly, loosing the smoothness and becoming fuzzy and burred.

I own several pairs of these and find that the quality of the fabric has tanked! The last 3 pairs I've purchased have pilled and worn out severely after 4 -5 uses. The fit was not consistent in the waist/hips and, one pair was roughly 3-inches shorter in the legs. Luckily, REI warranted these pants out and I am now wearing Prana.

I love the fit and comfort level, but the fabric started pilling after 1-2 washes. I am quite disappointed due to the cost and reputation of the brand. They are showing wear I didn't expect to see this soon.

Its true they just peel. I love the way they feel but after just on use they look like heck. Im very disappointed. You'd expect better from this brand.

I agree that they used to be great pants, but not anymore. They pill very quickly.

I love these pants. They are super comfortable and fit me well. I have curvy hips and a little junk in the trunk. I'm about a size 8 and these pants fit in all the right places. They are not too clingy or too gapey in the back. The fabric is soft on my skin as well.

I bought these for a 6 day backpacking trip to the eagle cap wilderness. They stretched out and lost shape the first day. I wore saggy britches the rest of the trip. I did like the length- I am 5.7 and usually wear a 34/L inseam. They also didn’t get super stinky after 6 day no shower in the wilderness. I recommend to size down.
