I was worried but it didn’t let me down!!!

Amazing! I’ve owned several Patagonia down jackets and have skid with them. Thought they were the best. This parka is amazingly warm. I walked a thousand miles in NYC (it feels like) the last few days and have actually gotten where I had to unzip or take it off. It’s good here and when you catch the windchill….Sheweee. I would totally ski in this and because it unzips from bottom as well you can do it. I’d buy one all over again.

Impressed!

I like this parka much more than I thought I would. It’s the warmest coat I have, and it definitely helps protect against wind. Haven’t worn it in more than a sprinkling of rain yet. I bought a large, and it’s generous, but not sloppy. I have room to layer but I don’t look like a Michelin man in it. I normally wear a medium or large top. It was made to move with you, not restricting at all and is quite comfy to wear. The pockets are great too. The one thing I don’t like are the black hand warmer cuffs on the navy coat. I feel like they could have matched with all the other attention to detail. Other than that, I’m very happy with it.

Beautiful coat! Runs big

I am 5'8" and 143# and wear a medium in everything. On the size chart for this jacket, I am a perfect medium. So I ordered a medium in carbon and it was way too big! The sleeves hung almost all the way over my hands. The carbon color was VERY dark, almost black, but pretty. I exchanged it for a small, and decided to try the Woods color out of curiosity. The small fits perfectly and I LOVE the color!! It is a very deep/dark olive and it is lovely in person. The mint green zipper adds a bit of interest, as opposed to the carbon, which is all the same color. It is very warm and seems very well made. I think it's the nicest coat I've ever owned! I live in Seattle and this is my new favorite winter jacket. Highly recommend, but order a size down!

Warm, sleek and with great extras. . .

This parka looks amazing, is super comfortable and it is warm but light to carry around. It runs slightly large, I usually order a L in parkas because I hate being wrapped in tightly, and the M in this one fits like a dream. The sleeve elastic is great for keeping cold air out of arms, soft neck is good for not rubbing up against the chin. Pockets have nice flannel inside for keeping my hands warm and they are roomy!!! The inner pockets are a game changer for not having to carry around a purse, and the zipped inner pocket is great for keeping phone and wallet items secure. The fact that you can take off the hood is amazing. Makes it look more sophisticated when you don’t need it.

Great jacket

The Calidez Down Parka is exactly what I was looking for - not too short and not too long. Not too lightweight, but not too heavy. I need a coat for everyday wear in winter in Wisconsin, something I can get in and out of my car, head to the store or the gym, take a walk with my neighbor, and even wear to go hiking in our state parks. Wisconsin is cold, but it’s not the arctic. The parka is surprisingly light weight and very comfortable. And, I like the fact that it doesn’t look like one more puffer jacket. I will say I tried 4 other jackets from very good retailers before finding the Calidez Parka. I’m so glad I kept looking! I’m 5’6”, a bit thick in my middle, 69 years old, and very active. I wear a medium. The green is a great color.

Almost Perfect

This coat is almost perfect! It's warm without being too bulky and I love the dark green color! My only complaint is the neck/collar, it's really high and stiff. It comes up to my nose and rubs when it's zipped more than 3/4 of the way up, which in dry midwest winters is quite uncomfortable. I wish they took a note from Marmot and padded the collar with fleece to make it more comfortable. It does run big so size down. I'm 5'3" and 118lbs and the XS still has lots of room to layer.

Love Love Love the Calidez Down Parka!

I am a Southern Californian who tried on and bought several down parkas for a two-week trip to Quebec. I did my due-diligence and researched several options and read dozens of online reviews (not going to lie — I have more weight to those reviewers from Minnesota and Canada or those from that mentioned polar vortex 😂) before making a decision on which to keep. Of these, I found the Calidez Down Parka to be my ABSOLUTE favorite. It is a well-made parka that hits mid-length (not too long and not too short), it is warm and of substantial weight and material but not too heavy. It is roomy enough that allows for layers underneath BUT is still cut/tailored nicely where so it’s not overwhelming and leaves you looking frumpy. There are two good-sized inside pockets, zippered outside pockets, a removable and adjustable hood, zippers and snaps to keep the jacket windproof. Highly recommend this parka!

Nice jacket but not waterproof

I bought this for a trip to Antarctica that I took in January and it was the perfect weight for the trip. I was disappointed that it was not as waterproof as I had expected. I got drenched once and the cuffs and bottom edge of the jacket were soaked as was everything inside of the pockets (they were zipped closed). A nice jacket but it is NOT waterproof,

Spectacular

LOVE this parka! From the color, fit, design, practical everything and warmth!! Plus it's light weight enough to be comfortable wearing on walks or car rides. This parka replace my 20 year old NorthFace down parka; which is still in tact very well. However -- something new and beautiful for my 71st birthday! Yay!

Great coat!

The Calidez is an awesomely warm jacket and works well all winter long (even in frigid places like up here in MN). It's holding at about zero degrees right now, but this jacket is up to the challenge! Plus, it's got tons of pockets in thoughtful places.
