Cotopaxi  Bacano Fleece Jacket - Women's

I was in Salt Lake on what turned out to be a rainy week and needed a jacket. The Flagship store was up the street so I stopped in and met the friendliest and turned out to be great spokesman for Cotopaxi. I immediately gravitated to th Bacano Fleece, mahogany with light blue trim. Great fit and cozy. I heard about the design studio above the store and found a great jacket and maybe an even better company since my sales guy was the best spokesperson for his employer any company could ask for. You know you have found something great when the product is fabulous but the guy at the store is invested in his product and employer! Well done and I am embarrassed I do do not remember great guy’s name.

I absolutely adore this fleece. There are enough pockets to keep all your secrets, easy zip up and a drawstring around the waist to tighten it up for those windy days.

This jacket is very warm for our rainy and breezy Colorado days! It is cozy enough that I have definitely fallen asleep in it! Lots of pockets and very versatile.

I love everything Cotopaxi, but they're clothes aren't always designed for bigger bodies. Most of the fleeces have a "trim" fit, and that means there's no way they fit over my hips unless I size up multiple times. The Bacano fleece has a nice wide cut in the jacket and an elastic cinch to give you more flexibility. It is a heavy/mid-weight fleece, and I do wish there was an option for a light-eight fleece that also fit my hips. But for now, I'll settle for something cute and comfy that fits!

I did love the Bacano fleece jacket because it was warm, and I loved the color. However, it did not fit my body. The shoulders were a tad big on me. I was very disappointed. However, it was an easy return. Unlike other companies, Cotopaxi acknowledged my return immediately and sent a refund immediately. Unbelievable. I have never experienced this in all the companies where I buy clothes or other goods. Congratulations Cotopaxi, and I will definitely buy other products from this company.

Runs a bit large. If you're in between sizes, you'll be fine going down for a more fashionable fit, but if you want it extra roomy for layering, go with the bigger size. I'm 5'4 and 125lbs. Usually always get size S in jackets like this, but the reviews made me nervous so I got the XS. The fit is good and still looks oversized and slouchy, but there isn't much room for layers underneath. Very functional and warm. Works as a fashion piece but also technical.

I selected the Bacano Fleece Jacket, as I love the purple color and the orange zippers. These are my favorite colors. When I tried on the large, it didn’t fit my body. I was encouraged to try on the XL and it fit me well. Then I was told that these are Woman’s sizes. I have to say that I’m a cautious shopper, but I liked the whole philosophy of your company, and for this purchase, I felt that I was not just buying a jacket, I was supporting your cause.

I have a fleece bomber from another brand that I love, but it’s not lined, and over time I stopped wearing it because it’s itchy inside. So I really appreciate that this fleece is lined. Of course I also love Cotopaxi’s commitment to reducing waste. I am 5’4”, 140lbs, 34D and ordered this in small and medium. The small still had a nice oversized fit with room to layer underneath, so I went with that size.

Ordered the fleece jacket in XS and S and neither size fit. The sleeves on both sizes were more like 3/4 length sleeves. This jacket has a boxy fit so if you are wanting something more tailored look for something else. The only thing I liked about the jacket was the color. Also, this is a nubby fleece - not a smooth fleece. Will be returning asap.

I absolutely love the jacket, it is so warm and light for those evening/afternoon walks around the block, at the park or at the beach.
